Carlos looks up at the clock. "It's still morning but just barely. How was your sleep?" He grabs a bowl and places it on the counter for her. "This is just a light snack so that you don't have to wait until lunchtime."
"Thank you, Carlos. My sleep was decent. The long drive here really wore me out. We did have normal breaks and stopped for the night but on top of all the chaos that is going on it makes one wonder why?" She grabs a fork and starts to eat the fruit that was in the bowl.
"It was no issue to make you a snack, Cindy. As for the chaos the only ones that can be blamed for this is the hunters that thrive on chaos. The ones who want to feel superior to the supernatural are the humans to blame. I would rather there be peace and for any of the beings be it supernatural or not that decides to create chaos get eradicated." Carlos smirks, "soup is always a good idea but this is for dinner, not lunch. I like the flavors to mix and simmer for an extended period of time. It deepens the taste thus making it taste better. Lunch is going to be pretty simple sandwiches, fruit, salad, and fresh fruit juice. Kitty went to the pool so I sent Luke to keep an eye on her. As for helping me out, I was thinking that everyone could make the sandwiches as they want them so I was just going to cut some veggies up and put the ingredients on some platters and whatever is left over I will wrap up for tomorrow. I figured a lighter lunch would suit everyone nicely. Also, we have to make sure that Kitty doesn't eat too much and has a balanced diet for both herself but also, the baby's sake." Cindy looks at the vegetables and then goes and rinses them off in the sink before cutting them into slices used on sandwiches. "I do not mind doing this at all. I prefer to help out rather than sitting around doing nothing. It is part of my job to make sure that she eats properly." She smiles and slowly gets everything placed on the platter.
Kitty woke up an hour later slowly she sat up and brushed her hair again. 'I think I shall go down to the dining room to continue the sketch I did earlier. Not much is needed to finish that off but I do need to sketch out the nursery as well. I swam for a while earlier and that is why I got so sleepy.' "I'm going to the dining room to grab the sketchbook to finish the sketch that I did of you and Carlos. I am also going to start the designs for the nursery as well."

Kitty starts giggling. "Do not worry. I doubt Leo will get mad at you for that comment and besides everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. See you downstairs when you are done." I will let nature take its course when it comes to the two of them.' She sits down and continues the sketch of Luke and Carlos.

"I hate to interrupt but do you think it would be possible to go into town tomorrow to collect the mail? I can't drive but Leo requested me to get the mail and any packages."
Carlos looks up at Luke, "sure we can make it an outing to get more ingredients as well. Should everyone go or will the ladies stay here."
Kitty hears the conversation and gets up. "I do not want to use my powers to go to town I will let you guys go. My powers are too unstable and I would rather not risk getting exposed."
Cindy looks at Kitty, "I will stay here as well. I know that you don't want us to worry about you but I am still concerned to leave you alone in an unknown house."
