Registration
“Fufu, thanks Onii-san. You bought so much stuff for me.”
“Thanks from me too, for the items you bought.”
“No need to thank me, this was all more or less earned by Noru in the first place.”
Having finished buying various other stuff besides clothes at the general store, we are now heading to our next destination.
The 2 of them thanked me, but the main force during hunting is Noru so the earnings are fundamentally hers. Eh? Does this mean I’m leeching… no that’s not it, there’s no way I’m being a mooch.
“So where are we going next?”
“The Adventurers Guild, gotta register Estel as an adventurer too.”
We are going to be doing adventurer things together. So it’s not a good idea to not register Estel.
I stuffed the remaining bags of loot that we couldn’t sell into the magic bag, at a spot where I wouldn’t be seen. Ah~, not needing to carry heavy bags is a wonderful thing.
We reach the Adventurers’ Guild and head inside, some people noticed and stared at us. A simple trace of their line of sight, showed that they were looking at Estel who was by my side.
“Welcome, Okura-sama. What will it be for today… who is this new companion you have there?”
“She will be joining my party from today. She has not registered as an adventurer yet, will there be problems to register her starting from today?”
“Yes, it’s okay… Is she by any chance, a magician?”
“That’s right.”
We went to the counter right away, and got Mana-san to help us with the procedures. She showed a pretty surprised expression when she heard Estel was a magician, and dropped the stationary she was holding.
Is this really that surprising?
“M-my apologies! T-then please fill in the relevant details here.”
Mana-san handed the registration form to Estel, while seemingly still shaken.
We move away from the counter, and move to another table to fill in the document.
“She looked very startled, what’s up with that.”
“That goes to show just how few in number magicians are. Fact is I have yet to see any others.”
There has been no end to the number of eyes on Estel, ever since we entered the building. She wore an outfit that was screaming ‘I’m a magician!’, and she was cute too.
When we were travelling down the streets in town too, there will be men who grin after looking at her every so often. There was also that one guy who panted heavily, I’m willing to bet an incident would have happened if she was alone.
The same could be said for Noru, she would definitely be the centre of attention if she ever showed her face. I will very likely become the subject of jealousy if that really happened.
“Now then, this here will be Estel-sama’s nameplate. You start from G rank and your nameplate will be seized if you do not take any requests within 10 days. It will cost 1000G to have the nameplate re-issued if you lose it, we hope to have your understanding.”
She receives the black plate, and looks at the front and back as if something was unusual. She then curiously tilts her head.
“Why is the color of mine and Onii-san’s is different?”
“Oh that. That’s because we are E-rank and Estel is G-rank.”
The plate dangling down mine and Noru’s neck is blue. You just became an adventurer so of course it’s different.
“It’s kinda sad that I’m being left out by my companions. Onee-san, can you make me E-rank too?”
“Apologies. But nobody can rank up without meeting the predetermined requirements as stated in the regulations.”
Estel showed a disappointed face.
But rules are rules, so it can’t be helped. Besides, she will be able to quickly reach E-rank anyway, there’s no need to rush.
“Is that so… alright then. Onii-san, let’s go pick a request now so I can get to E-rank too.”
“Mm, right now is kinda tough. It’s dark already, let’s leave that for tomorrow.”
It’s the time of day when the city is illuminated by the sunset. I don’t have the motivation to start moving out to hunt right now.
“Muu~, the forest where the Orcs and Goblins are, can’t I just go and blow them all up now?”
“Stop right there, don’t go around doing stuff like that.”
“It’s not exactly impossible for her, it’s kinda scary to think about it…”
Why do all her ideas sound so dangerous. I’m honestly scared because she can really pull it off if I told her to ‘Go ahead’. Even Noru seemed slightly anxious.

After finishing our business, we returned to the inn. I get my meal and bath out of the way, and am currently relaxing in our room.
As expected the bigger bed goes to Estel and Noru, and I sleep on the remaining bed. I was slightly nervous that they would say this is unfair again, but that didn’t happen so I feel relieved.
“Somehow, I feel strangely tired even though we didn’t go hunting today…”
“Onii-san, you seem to have low stamina.”
“Uuu, can you stop that~ ”
Estel was fiddling with Noru’s hair, while she replied to my gripes.
She began playing around with her hair, after saying ‘Isn’t it kind of a waste, when you have such beautiful long hair’. Noru’s hair which has always simply been let down, has now become twintails.
Dang, it really suits her. If I imagine her real face and put them together, my lower half might react to this.
“Ara, as I thought you look cute in this getup. Can’t you take off your eye mask too?”
“Definitely not! Absolutely!”
She desperately protects her eye mask, preventing it from being removed. I wanted her to remove it though if possible.
“So stubborn. Does Onii-san have any requests?”
“A ponytail then. Ah, but I want to see a two side up too.”
It’s fresh to see something different from her usual hairstyle. This is something happy for me, as you cannot see any other hairstyles back in the game.
Something like this wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t summon Estel, so I’m really glad that she is now with us. There’s also my desire with the camera app. Why, why did I not get her during my full whiff festival!
“Fufu, I’ll do both then.”
“I am not a toy~”
The twintails were undone, and she starts fiddling the hair into another hairstyle. Noru makes a bothered welp. Yep, they seem to be getting along just fine.
Now then, guess I should confirm Estel’s stats while she is busy playing with Noru. I sat up on the bed and activate the status app, and captured Estel on camera.

Putting that aside, she really has a boatload of MP. As expected of a magician. In return, her defense is on the lower end.
Having 10 in magic resistance means a damage reduction of 10% from magic attacks. Magic ignores defense power, so it is prized and oft used against enemies that have very high defense and the heavy armor types back in GC.
And Estel is an amazing unit that has high firepower and magic resistance. Although she is weak against physical attacks, she has undeniable firepower when you pair her up with a tank.

Before I knew it Estel was right infront of me. On the other bed where she was playing around until a while ago, lies the exhausted Noru who now has a ponytail.

This is bad, gotta cover this up somehow. I’m still on the status screen currently. Who knows what they’ll do to me if they find out their 3 sizes are shown here.
“Hーnn. I wonder if that’s true? Oh well, hup.”

She glared at me with suspicious eyes, I break out in cold sweat. Then, she jumped onto my lap the moment she stopped her staring.
“Nn~, Onii-san has a surprisingly well built body.”
She puts her head on my lap and rubs her cheeks on them. As though a cat marking its smell on. It didn’t end with that, she’s touching me all over too which is ticklish.
“Muu, that looks comfortable. I’m kinda envious.”
Noru recovered without me noticing and came over to my bed. I stuff the smartphone into the futon to hide it from view during the slight chaos.
Phew, looks like nobody found out. Mmm, I didn’t hear it properly, but I think someone said something about being envious?
“Ara, Noru you wanna do it too?”
“Can I!”
“Not even going to ask for my opinion huh…”
With Estel’s invitation, Noru dropped by to my other vacant lap.
Really, what is this. Why am I giving lap pillows to 2 girls. Frankly this doesn’t feel bad at all, but I’d really like you two to stop cause blood’s gonna flow to my lower body.
But that wasn’t meant to be, as I get rubbed on by the two of them for a while.
