While Jason was still daydreaming about the power, this would give him Siegfried had already completed whispering his spell. The dark red Dragon Blood started to form as armour around Siegfried's arms and chest slowly. With each passing second, the form of his armour became more apparent and more precise. Scales started to form on the armour signalling the origin of the blood, and as the final piece of the puzzle came together, a draconic helmet covered his head, leaving him standing there like a demonic knight.

Finally, the memory came to an end as Jason had seen all he wished to see. It was now Jason's turn to forge his armour. His armour would not be as strong or cool-looking as Siegfried's since he's substituting magical beast blood with just human blood, but this was all he could do right now, and this would still be a drastic improvement to his innate armour spell.

Jason closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he collected his mind and opened his barrel of blood to form his armour. With just one barrel of human blood, Jason decided to go for a suit of light armour that covered his body entirely instead of just generating one piece of half-decent armour. First, Jason needed to strip down to draw the sigils on himself, so he quickly stripped down to his briefs, and with that, Jason dipped his hand into the black barrel and drew the needed sigils on his forehead, arms, chest and knees. With the preparations, complete the red tendrils extending out from his back and inserted themselves into the barrel and drank from it with hunger. In the large apartment, all you could hear was the quiet harsh chanting of a spell and the soft wet sound of blood sloshing around in the barrel for the next five minutes.

Gradually the chanting stopped, and blood started to flow towards the inscriptions that Jason had placed on himself just as that was happening, the blood flow suddenly multiplied in speed. It began to rocket towards the symbols before crashing directly into them and jumpstarting the armour creation process. The blood that was from average humans shouldn't have been able to have such speed, but as if something had boosted it, the armour that was forming was several times stronger than he had predicted. The light armour that should have been built was replaced with a new and improved version.

The armour that Jason was now wearing was miles ahead of the armour he had planned. The armour was a simple plate type with red veins spreading from the center. The red veins were originating from a red jewel that was calling Jason's mind. Nine thick red threads of blood came from the gem different from the others coming from the treasure as they were thinner and weaker in colour. Even the tendrils on his back had received some changes. Usually, the tendrils were blunt-tipped as if they came from an octopus, but now on the tips of the tendrils were the red snapping heads of a hydra.

Jason could feel a call from the red gem in the center of his armour. He recognized the treasure from the Store to Jason's knowledge. It had melted in his pocket, but now it was the centrepiece of his blood armour. Jason put his hand over the gem as he tried to reach inside it with his mind. He quickly made contact with the spirit inside of the stone.

"Hi."

The spirit inside of the stone shyly reached out and greeted Jason. The voice hissed in Jason's mind as if several snakes were talking at once.

"Hey, what are you?"

Jason was curious about discovering this spirit. It seemed to have strengthened his armour above the quality it should have been at.

The spirit quickly explained hissing away immediately.

"I am a young Hydra. Our blood has many magical properties; for example, Hercules used our blood as a poison against his enemies. But our blood also has fantastic healing properties, but, most importantly, during an ambush by hunters, my body was destroyed. But my parents anchored my soul by crystallizing my blood and body into this blood crystal so it could be used as a vessel for my soul."

The Hydra paused in pain upon reflection of what happened to his parents and his body.

"They failed in their revenge and died, but when the hunters found our home, they thought this blood crystal was an ordinary one, and it traded through multiple hands before arriving at the store there. When you arrived at the store, I sensed something in you that called to me, so I used what little power I had left and escaped from the case and entered your pocket to fuse with you."

"So what was the purpose of fusing with me. I mean, I'm glad I got to hear your tragic backstory, but I think there's a little more than I just appealed to you. I mean, you used the last of your power to cling to me."

Jason wanted answers, and all he had gotten so far was a story about a family of Hydra's getting hunted down. His hearts were a little harder to tug than that.

"As you said, the last of my power, I would not have lasted long in that case. Either someone would absorb me or my spirit will die. But I felt this healing and primal aura coming from your blood, so I clung to you as a last resort. I was hoping that your blood would restore my spirit, which it did, but the only way I could access your blood was fusing with you. You creating this armour gave me an excellent chance since there was such an influx of new blood, and you were busy forming the armour. Still, I underestimated the formations you inscribed suction as I couldn't escape from them, and you absorbed me into the armour and made me fuse with you. So now I am a piece of this armour and a piece of you."

The young Hydra proved this by taking hold of one of the hydra heads on Jason's back and tapping on Jason's shoulder with the head as a display of control.
