Gu Xijiu closed her eyes for a second. "He is still alive!" Firmament Stone told her that the prince was still alive; it was only uncertain of his location.
Long Siye was puzzled. "Xijiu, how do you know?"
"I have my ways. All I know is that he is still alive."
Long Siye swirled his cup of tea and gave off a soft sigh. "If he is alive but not seen, then there are two possibilities- he is trapped and unable to free himself, or he has lost his memories, forgetting that he was once Prince Yun Yanli."
"I hope that he had lost his memories, because that way, he will not suffer as much. Supposing he has been trapped, once he manages to escape, seeing his family destroyed would be too much for him to handle."
Gu Xijiu sipped her tea and was preoccupied with the question as well. She suddenly remembered something. "What about his sister?"
Long Siye responded, "His sister still lives in the old princess palace. She has been living quite a good life, not much different from how she used to live."
Gu Xijiu was pleased with that answer. She knew that the princess was called Yun Yanhui. She was two years older than Yun Yanli. Bound by blood, the pair of siblings had a close-knit relationship.
