She squinted her eyes at Gu Xijiu and smiled coldly. “It seems that you think no one can take him away from you. Are you so confident?”
“Of course.” Gu Xijiu answered very firmly!
The demon smiled leisurely as she continued, “Others may not be able to do the job, but I can! Because I used to be you, and I am much better than you right now!”
Gu Xijiu chuckled. Apparently, she did not believe it.
“Do you not believe it? Well, I will show you and let you see it with your own eyes. Perhaps, that is what it will take to shatter your spirits!”
The last message managed to catch Gu Xijiu’s attention. How did this woman in white intend to shatter her spirits?

The demon actually created a shady screen with a wave of her sleeve. The scene looked incredibly realistic with grass and trees scattered everywhere; even the brick walls were all very clear… Perhaps, one could say that it looked more realistic than an HDTV!
The area was filled with peach blossoms and appeared to be surrounded by mountains and rivers. The peach blossom trees were all over the place, and it revealed the corner of a green-roof building in it.
Nevertheless, despite the stunning details, none of them were actually very important. The most important thing was that she saw Di Fuyi! She also saw the inner demon, who was now dressed in green.
Gu Xijiu’s eyes fell on Di Fuyi, and her heart sank a little.
Di Fuyi was wearing a very special purple robe. Although this purple robe was the style he often wore, it had a star embroidered on his left shoulder.
That was Gu Xijiu’s doing!
A few years ago, when Di Fuyi took her to the clan of the mermaid family, they attended an embroidery workshop. The embroiderers there were very skillful. As she watched on, she realized that the woman actually knew some of the things between them. For example, she knew how long Gu Xijiu and Di Fuyi had been apart, which was something that Gu Xijiu had not revealed to anyone.
Gu Xijiu stared at the woman in white and asked, “How did she know about the things between Fuyi and me?!”
