We descended the stairs for quite a while but the stairs keeps on going without signs of the bottom.

"How long are we going to reach the very bottom, master? We have been trying to descend for quite a while!" Lina protested.

Even I wanted to reach the bottom now but f*ck, who would have thought that the bottom seems really far from our location still. The fear of endless stairs made you feel the despair.

"Damn, I think we are on loop or something!" I muttered. There is a very high possibility that we are on loop. Its a tricky spell that is cast on a certain area and if a person or some creature reach the certain area that was put on loop, the person will keep on being on the loop. Unless that person managed to find the weakness of the spell, they will suffer forever in the never ending cycle.

After Lina heard me, she quickly slam her hands together, and mutter a chant.

"Lord of Mysteries, give us the power to escape the mysterious phenomenon before us, Dispel!"

Bang! Crack!

As soon as Lina raised her palms in the air, the surroundings cracked like a mirror. Dispel is a skill that destroys any kind of illusion spell that was cast on an area. I don't have that spell yet which falls under the class of Magician's Tier 4. Luckily, Lina used and learn that skill, which made us able to escape the place.

When the spell was broken, we found out that the stairs is not that long and we are almost near the bottom.

"Let's go master!" Lina nodded and prepared her whip.

I also prepared my sword and descended. Soon enough, we arrived on the Basement. And as we suspected, the Necromancer was indeed performing a spell. He was currently in the middle of chanting, so I nodded at Lina as we sneak in at the Necromancer. I cast Stealth Camouflage and brandish my Sword slowly.

The necromancer did not get to notice me at all, so when I was just behind his back, I quickly made a strong lunge behind its back, making the Necromancer scream in pain.

"Agggghhh!"

I twisted my sword before pulling the sword again and retreated for Lina's turn to attack!

"Adventurers! You lot are always foiling my plans!" He roared as he quickly cast to summon an undead.

"Thunderbolt!" I disrupted his spell. He flinched and the summoning process was cancelled. He clutched his chest hard as blood continuously fell from his wound that I made after the sneak attack. Unluckily, I missed the vital spot, or else, he wouldn't be standing here. I look at his name as it was displayed.

"Lazaro"

Level 70

HP: 810,234/ 900,000

Attribute: Human, Dark

A level 70 enemy! No wonder he didn't die easily! This old man clad in black robe, with wrinkles all over his face, gritted his teeth as he look at me and Lina with his All Black Eyes that I cannot differentiate where is the pupils in his eye. You can imagine like some sort of marble being used as an eye for the sculpture.

I readied my all skills and my stance ready, he might be a human but I know that a Necromancer like him is hard to beat. Unless I have back up like how the previous owner of his mansion did, we have a hundred percent chance of killing this guy. Unfortunately, only Lina and I are challenging this guy. It would be hard to approach him now as this guy would be summoning his undead.

"Death to believers!" Lazaro raised his hand and conjure a dark ball of energy and aimed it at us.

I quickly act without flinching and changed my weapon into shield and covers Lina too.

"Reflect Shield!"

The dark ball that hits my shield bounced back and got reflected to Lazaro, hitting him instead.

"Guah!" Lazaro staggered. An opening!

"Lina!" I changed my weapon again into a dual hand gun and cast Bullet Barrage to the staggering Lazaro. Lina on the other hand slams her whip hard on Lazaro's back, making Lazaro scream as pain sinks inside his body as we continue to attack him without stopping.

Lazaro tried to use his necromancy power but I always interrupted his casting power. I already knew that Necromancy skills needed chants and cast time to work. Lazaro might be a level 70 but without any abilities that can anti us, he died without any sort of retaliation. In the end, he dropped a book and I raised my level to level 60 without hitch and only 94% left to level to 61. I picked up the book that dropped after Lazaro died.

"Lazaro's Necromancy Skill Book"

Effect: Using this book allows the player to learn Necromancy skills despite the class. Necromancy Skill tree will be unlocked and ready to use. Additional skills, Summoning Gate, Raise the Dead and Zombiefy are considered as Lazaro's unique skill and can be learned here too. Consumed when used.

Description: Lazaro's study and skills are recorded in this book. Reading it will unlock your potential to raise the Dead to follow your whim.

Rarity: Unique

Holy crap! A unique skill book! Skill books won't be available till the next update but for some reason, I already owned one! Also, I will be able to use the skills of a Necromancer Class very early! What does that mean? It would mean that I will be able to cast Necromancer skills without waiting for the Patch to update my skill tree! How awesome is that? And since this skill book is unique, no other player except me can obtain this skill book! It won't appear again once I consume it!

Although I can still learn the skills of the Necromancer later on, this skill book is pretty awesome and I won't be needing to use SP to unlock those skills, I can use them now! What is more, three skills were considered unique. I don't need to waste my chance indeed!

"Skill book consumed. Skills forced unlocked."

My body glows ad my head ached as the skills appeared in my mind. I struggled a bit and thanks to Lina supporting me from collapsing, I rested a bit before I recovered from the headache inducing skill book. After my mind calmed down, I checked my skill tree and I was so happy to see all of the Necromancy skills are unlocked for me to use! Of course, you can't use all of them unless you reach a certain level. The three skills, Summoning Gate, Raise The Dead, And Zombiefy is not restricted to levels so I can use them freely.

"Summoning Gate" Tier 5

Casting Time: 2 minutes

Mana Cost: 100

Cooldown: 20 minutes

Usage: Produce a gate to summon Century Skeleton or Transparent Ghouls randomly. Will follow their master's order. The gate will be forever existing unless it was destroyed.

"Raise the Dead"Tier 5

Casting Time: 30 seconds

Mana Cost: 200 per corpse

Cooldown: 5 minutes

Usage: Raise the dead again by using corpses. The more corpses being raised to life, the more mana it consumes. The corpse will be loyal to the Player forever until it gets destroyed.

"Zombiefy" Tier 5

Casting Time: 3 minutes and 30 Seconds

Mana Cost: 50

Cooldown: 5 hours

Usage: Force a living being to undergo necrosis. Players that got to undergo Necrosis will be loyal to the caster for 1 hour and will follow every order. Cannot be used on undead and Ghost types.

Wow, just wow. All of these skills are considered really good! The only problem is the Casting Time. They are a bit going to take a lot of time to cast which is a downside. However, with this, I won't be troubled on what to do for lack of comrades in battle, I can just summon countless of Skeletons and undead to attack. Wouldn't that help me a lot?

After surveying around for a while, I just frowned since there are no single piece of treasure left on the basement, I didn't mind because I already knew I cleared the quest. It would be strange if there are any treasure left by Lazaro. Perhaps, he alreay sold it or use it on his Necromancy research.

I send Lina back by Leona and teleported straight to the Headquarters to report back the quest to Lala. Lala is resting in her desk, reading her book as she was bored. No players are rich enough to buy houses or mansions yet so her job is considered very easy for now. She might have a few players as customers who asked for the amount but after learning the enormous amount, they would be disappointed and would grind to earn enough money.

When I approached the desk of Lala, she raised her eyes to me before returning back on her book. Then she realized that it was me and quickly tidy up her posture.

"You're back, I thought you would be taken long before you finished the quest?" Lala closed the book that she was reading after putting a bookmark on it and faces on me properly.

"Nah, it was pretty easy. I will be turning the quest over," I said to her and confirm the quest panel to turn it to her. The records on the Quest panel are absolute so even though you try to lie to them, you can't do it as it will be seen directly by them. After confirming, Lala was so shocked that her jaw almost fell from shock.

"One hour?!" she gasped as she keeps on reading the panel on how I did it.

She sweated profusely as she keep on reading the panel and the more she read, the more sweat on her forehead flow. She trembled and look at me like some sort of monster.

"C-congratulations, you cleared the quest, you just need to hand one million gold coins to me to complete the transaction," Lala said and although she stuttered a bit, she managed to compose herself again.

I didn't hesitate and took a big pouch containing one million gold coins. Other players who are looking at me were startled when I put the one million gold coins directly without batting an eyelid on it. I didn't mind much. If there are thieves coming, of course, I will welcome them more. Having free sheep coming straight to me is much more better.

I can see the greedy look on their eyes. Although it has been a few days since I started playing the game and I even exchanged a few gold coins into real money, I still managed to earn gold coins. Why? I have the Midas' Pearl of Gold. Although it has an effect of turning enemies to gold coins for a limited amount a month, I also managed to find out that killing enemies, players or monsters, they yield double reward of coins most of the time and I rarely pick up Bronze and Silver, most of the time, it was gold. And with my back to back slaughter against the bosses in Dungeon of Deceit and the few struggles on beating a few bosses from the Lesser Purgatory, it didn't take me a few months to earn one million gold coins, only a few weeks.

As to why the mansion became cheap even though it was a level 10 mansion, it was due to the fact that undead monsters infested the area and no NPC tycoon dares to purchase it without getting rid of the monsters. As for the players, it would be too early for them to buy one. I suspect that most players tend to exchange their gold coins into money. For me, invest first before exchanging it for that.

I received the title of the mansion and I signed my signature there and after it was signed up, it burned automatically and the ashes flew into the record book that Lala was holding. The title cannot be relinquished to anyone or forcefully stole as long as the owner didn't relinquished it. No one can change the record except for the owners. That is why, I don't have any qualms of players trying to invade my home. After that, I flew back to the inn to take most of my items like the Alchemy Table and a few papyrus into my inventory and go downstairs. Lily was currently wiping the counter when she saw me.

"Master Bladeheart, are you going now?" she asked as she wipes her hands with her apron.

"Yeah, thanks for letting me in for a few weeks, I appreciated it," I bowed at her. She is a precious NPC companion I have in this game and even though she haven't done much to me here, she really did help me in the past timeline, I can't just ignore it.

"Don't worry, you are one of our VIP customers in this inn and we would never forget it, you even have Lina as your maid and trained her, I should be the one thanking. Anyways, if you have some problems or questions, or even just looking for a companion for drinking, don't hesitate to return here alright?" she raised her fist and made a fistbump on me. Although she was more masculine than any tavern managers that games portray, she was obviously one of the reasons I am right here now. If not for her previous help that built my character now, I might have no longer have the reason to live.

Lina did not come with me as she was busy with the works at the inn but she would readily help me if there are any thing she have to do.

I ride on Leona and once again return to my Mansion. Of course it is now my mansion, since I bought it. I stared at the scroll in my bag. Its time for me to tear it.
