Before I begin the session of Alchemical Process, I opened my skill panel and scans the skills in Alchemists. As expected, the reason why Alchemist can be really successful in Alchemy Job. This is the main reason.

Alchemy is not something that rely on success. It merely rely on failures. Countless of failures allowed people to discover the reason why they always failed. And for a profession that only relies on luck is certainly known to be a hard job. Of course, I am not afraid of failures, I am just worried that many players are already going to catch up soon. I spent the earned SP from using the hook. Using it can procure me SP and I was able to spend it for this skill. This is a passive skill so I don't need to keep on casting it to effect everything.
I opened the booklet magazine that Simon has given to me. The book's language is not in English language, its in reversed Latin. Though it is reversed Latin, the game system didn't need to give players a headache to decipher every word inside a book of Alchemy that is meant for beginners.
I suddenly felt a good urge of information in my mind as it flooded in. Though I felt a bit of a headache, its not really something bad. I opened my eyes and once again, I felt lighter in my head. This is probably to the newly acquired knowledge. It is quite terrifying if you ask me. If the education of the world is similar to this, we don't need to read a book and just open it to absorb and understand its contents. If anything like that happened, we might have not needed education system and relies on these method instead.
After everything is done, I put the first Flame Boulder on the Alchemy Table and began some chants. Though I have no idea what I am talking about, my mouth and hands are just moving fluently like somebody is controlling me and allowed me to chant in Latin or whatever language it was in. While doing so, I saw the progress panel and the experience level I have for Alchemy and the success chance. Its only 50%.

The Alchemy Circle glows and engulfs the Flame Boulder in a blinding light before it exploded.

Rocks scattered around the floor and smoke bellowed on the Alchemy table.
"D*mn! I failed!" I cursed. The Flame Boulder was destroyed and no longer fixable back to its normal state. I was just disappointed that the flame rocks it should have produced are all down to pieces and no longer usable. I look at my success rate and it was risen to 60%. My Job Exp bar also rises to 50%. I am still a level 1 Alchemy practitioner anyway. So this progress is easy to raise. Though the Memento Mori do not help raising Job level, I don't really mind it, Extra Jobs are only for fun and I don't really need to keep it higher than anyone else.
After the Alchemy table recovered and no longer bellowing smoke, I put down another Flame Boulder and once again made a chant.

The boulder exploded once more. I continued doing so until my success rate arrived to 80%. I was also a level 3 Alchemy Practitioner now but I still have a low probability of success. I already wasted 10 pieces without even having a single success. I frowned from this. Is my bad luck maxed out and I am currently experiencing its bad effects? I shook my head and once again, I put another Flame Boulder. Just like the saying," Try and try until you succeed," I will also continue doing so.
CRACK!
This time, its a different sound and no destructive sound was heard this time. Its just a cracking sound. I look at the Flame Boulder and look at the progress. I grinned when I saw the green words appeared on the panel.
SUCCESS!
I checked on how many rocks I have obtained. I was happy to see that I got 12 Flame Rocks and I got some powder residue. It looks familiar and when I fully checked it, I found it as another useful item that I rarely used in the past, no wonder I find it familiar.

This item is an item that is meant for bombmakers to handle. Bombmakers are another set of Ex Job popular in Alternate World. There are different attributes of Gunpowder that is why different bombs are made depending on the attribute that the gunpowder is made. Bombs are useful for players who don't possess Elemental Power but in dire need of one especially for missions that needed them to play solo. Bombs are very useful as element damage dealers. Bombs are also beneficial for decoys as they sometimes can be used as smoke bombs and flashbangs that can either temporarily blind the enemy or conceal a presence in a short period of time.
I continue doing the process, I totally got sidetracked by my job. I continued to repeat every movement and this time, I finally got a 100% success rate. I nodded in satisfaction and gained a good amount of flame rocks which reached to 326 pieces. I got random amount of Flame Rocks from a single Flame Boulder and most of them are not fixed amount so I have not estimated most of them to reach this amount. I also reached level 5 in Alchemy Practitioner and got a bonus of 10 cups of Gunpowder in flame Attribute.
With that amount of result, I was happy to get that kind of amount. I looked at the clock in my HUD which signifies the time in the real world. Its almost dinner time. Guess I have to rest for a while. Since the food and vitamins add-on for the Reality Verse is not yet installed, playing long is just similar to playing a game in the PC without resting and eating for a whole day. You will get fatigued and sick, its much worse in Reality Verse as it made your brain work too hard, alongside with no food intake and momentarily break time.
Leveling can wait, I will get more troubled if I keep on playing and get sick. My level will be easy to catch up by other players if I get sick for a few days. I can't risk that happening. I logged out the game and once again, I returned to the interior of the Reality Verse Cabin. I move towards the kitchen and since my leftovers from lunch is already consumed, I have no choice but to cook. However, I am too lazy and my mind is too tired. I have to just go on instant noodles tonight.
While I was waiting for the instant noodles to get cooked in the hot water, I received a call. When I looked at the screen, it was my mom who is calling.
"Mom? What's wrong?" I asked. I did not remember this happening in the past. Is this another unprecedented event?
"Sorry if you did not expect me to call. I just wanted to tell you that we decided to move here in Sapporo as business seems to be on boom. I think its time for you to live independently, Manato," Mom said on the other line.
I did not expect that to happen. In the past, mom and dad returned after a few weeks. Though they still returned to Sapporo, that occurred two years later. Why did it get to early? They did not even go back home.
"Its alright mom, I understand," I said without emotion.
"Don't worry, we have organized something to make you occupied and no longer longing for our company. We know that it is lonesome inside a big house alone, so we made our house as a rental house for a few students. There are three vacant rooms at home and that includes our rooms. There are some important items there but your dad will be going home tomorrow to pick up the necessary documents. Since our house is near your school and the supermarket, their is someone bound to rent there," Mom explained.
Wait, wait, wait, what? What the hell did she just said just now? Our house is for rent? Seriously?! This is unprecedented! No! My privacy will get ruined! I am against this!
"I know you are against this, but we know that you are some kind of an antisocial kid. You should socialize for some time and get a girlfriend soon! You cannot stop us from doing this as we are doing this for the sake of your well being and for our future grandson and granddaughter! Don't worry, we won't get mad if you have done something with our future female tenants, just make sure you don't molest them and ask some permission. Okay, later! Wait for your father tomorrow!" And the line goes dead without me being able to respond.

I still have the Alternate World game to get worried about! This isn't what I expect! This never happened at all in the past and moreover, this tenants are what I am more worried about! What if they are playing Alternate World too? Playing the game will get hard for me now!
