"SARS! Thanks to the God of Fortune! You're finally back!" Al wanted to cry; he was already starting to lose hope.

[Answer my question, dumb ass, Al Gentrix So Strong. Do you wish to proceed to the 2nd Phase of the Analysis?] SARS berated.

"I've got no time for that now! I'll take what's available with the 1st Phase! What can you offer?" Al urgently answered. By now, he was already numb against SARS' abusive labels.

[Complete analysis of all variables inside Alistor City, and the places around it.]

"Nice! Can you help me reveal that man's hidden class?" Al pointed out towards the massive figure standing on the rubble, shadowed by the smoke caused by the building's downfall. 'Shit! Where's Nisha?' The boy immediately noticed that RockSalt was all alone.

[Analyzing player...]

IGN: RockSalt

Level: 79

Rank: Dark Gold V

Race: Human-Undead (Mutated)

Class: Bloodsucker (Hidden) - discovered by RockSalt through the process of mutation. He's also the only player possessing this class as of the moment.

Affiliation: Guild Leader of Stone Troopers

Skills: 3x Racial Passives, 1x Class Passive, 1x Class Active Skill, and 1x Weapon Active Skill.

(Human Race Passive: Jack of All Trades) - Grants 5 Attribute Points to allocate every level. Users can use all available equipment and skills.

(Undead Race Passive: Shrouded Skin) - Due to mutation, it removed amplified damage against fire elemental attacks in exchange for a decrease in immunity against physical damages. Instead of having invulnerability against physical damages, the user may now only block the attack with a 50% chance of success.

(Mutation Race Passive: Incomplete Transfusion) - Due to incomplete mutation, the user will be only limited to one Class Active Skill, regardless of Level. Collect 10,000 Life Essences from an NPC that belongs to the Demon, Savage, Goblin, or Undead Race to remove the restriction.

(Class Unique Passive: Blood Discord) - It allows the user to summon tentacles from his body that suck blood at will. Absorbs 2.5% of a dead character's attribute, and 5% attribute from slain targets. Each tentacle carries 3.5% of the user's total HP. Current Limit: 79 units of tentacles, scales according to level.

(Class Active Skill: Blood Compact) - It allows the user to negate one magical attack, and reflect it to its caster.

(Weapon Active Skill: Infested Blood) - Allows user to change the form of its weapon.

...

"Holy Guacamole! Despite having only one Class Active Skill, he's a formidable foe in a one versus one, due to his forged weapon's complementary skill! I need to warn Nisha!" Al was shocked by RockSalt's arsenal.

[Stop! Nisha will suspect how you were able to have access to these data. For now, we'll watch how the battle unfolds. Your friend's little brother is still alive.], SARS warned.

The bot has a point. Al could not risk revealing SARS as of the moment. "Is there nothing we could do, then?" He asked.

[There's nothing we could do. Your friend has overestimated his ability], SARS answered directly.

'I'm really sorry, Nisha.' Al tightened his fist. In this high-level match-up, he's a nobody. His presence or absence will not make any significant difference, unless... 'No, I'll have to give it a try!'

Udil halted his steps. The previous tentacle was still chasing him. "At least, let me shave off 3.5% of his life!"

Piston Lungs!

It was not only until the fight occurred that Al had realized that he's unable to change skills in the Open World. He'll have to be in the lobby to replace his abilities. So, all he could use now were the arsonist skills that he had equipped before entering the Open World.

Udil's chest seemed to explode any moment soon as the form of his lungs could be seen inside his cloth armor. It was blazing. Al felt his body temperature rise. When he nocked an arrow, it's tip immediately ignited.

"Eat this!"

Whooosh!

Toinggg. The arrow missed.

"Shit! It knows how to evade?" Al grimaced.

[Idiot, Al Gentrix So Strong. These tongue-like tentacles act independently. Although they only possess 3.5% of RockSalt's total HP, that's still three more times than your current HP. You're a stupid man. Why won't you listen to me? Just run!] Even though SARS' voice was mechanical and monotonous, Al could feel the rage from the bot.

"No! I won't leave Nisha behind! Even if it means that I'll have to die! But please! Don't let me die today! Lend me your strength, SARS!"

[Zzzzz.] SARS knew what Al meant.

[Autopilot mode activated.]

SARS had only one job to do. Keep Al alive and make him the strongest War Grounds Player!

Udil's aura and stance suddenly changed. He moved with finesse as he was just in time to dodge the tentacle's grab. He immediately released three flaming arrows in a row. All of it was hitting the same spot.

Hiss! A burn mark could be seen in the tentacle's body. It retracted its form before lashing out again. However, Udil, who was under SARS control now, did not dare to dodge. "SARS! What are you doing?" Al shouted inside his gaming helmet, but he can't supersede the bot's action. Udil remained unmoving.

Just when the tentacle was six body units away, Udil released two arrows, all of which were tanked by the tongue-like life form.

[3.45% HP remaining.]

[What a solid summon. Let's try this, then.]

Devil's Tongue!

With a flaming pair of lungs, the Devil's Tongue was further amplified as it swallowed the tentacle in its flame.

The tentacle wriggled, halting its offense. It was now on fire.

[You had triggered Hell's Mark.]

The flame on the tentacle's body intensified, steadily decreasing the life form's proportioned HP as Udil kept on attacking it with fire-empowered attacks. Meanwhile, Al was starting to get dizzy. Under SARS control, his character's movements were fast as he kept on dodging the lashing of the tentacle.

Before Al passed out, all he saw was a burnt into crisp, gore-looking, lifeless tentacle ready to be added to a giant takoyaki.

...

Previously, after RockSalt grabbed Nisha, he immediately felt the enormous strength of his opponent.

Despite his struggle, he was not able to dismount the tentacles from his golden gauntlet nor remove his head from the massive hand that got hold of him. He immediately found himself raised from the ground before crashing on the tile roofing, plummeting down to the ground, and destroying the entirety of the structure. His health plummeted down to 70%.

Just before he could stand up, RockSalt stomped on his stomach, following from the fall.

Ack! Nisha felt the sting in the real world. His HP further decreasing to 65%.

Crack!

RockSalt's offense continued, and with a punch from a tentacle-encased fist, Yamasteh's iron mask finally caved in, revealing a teenager's face. Nisha's HP decreased again at 62%.

"Haha! As expected. You're indeed a kid. Never forget this experience, kiddo, and don't forget my name. Tomorrow, I'll be your guild leader." Fifty tentacles spurted from RockSalt's lower back. All of it merged, forming a giant flamberge sword, serving like a scorpion's tail for its user.

Just when RockSalt was about to stab with his massive stinger, he suddenly stopped. His HP decreased to 96.5%. 'Someone managed to kill one of my tentacles?' The man's expression was grim as he surveyed the helpless Yamasteh, who was currently pinned down.

With a distracted attention, an opening appeared for Nisha.

Gauntlet Thruster!

Spwooosh!

Yamasteh's weapon released a fiery yellow energy as his character propulsed away from RockSalt.

"You fool! Where do you think are you going? You're not keeping your word!" RockSalt gritted his teeth as he was caught off guard by the sudden decrease of his HP, and Yamasteh's successful escape.

"I am not running! Xexe. I can't cast a skill under your feet, madman!" Nisha's face could be seen smiling as he wiped away the dirt from his white cloak, while in mid-air.

With the help of 'Battle Stations,' the console, and unified name for the gears used in War Grounds, one may exactly replicate or modify their physical features in the real world with that of their character in the game. Yamasteh's body may be buffed, but his face still belonged to that of a 14-year old boy. As for Al, he cloned his father's appearance. As a result, his character seemed to be that of someone aging between 40 to 50 years old.

The stinger-shaped tentacle of RockSalt immediately caught up with Yamasteh, impaling him.

Clang! The boy was able to block it, further accelerating his distance from RockSalt as he was pushed back, his HP decreasing again to 59%.

Boom!

Nisha was not able to control his landing due to the force of the attack. He once again crashed towards another building. The structure was split into two, and the falling debris caused another smoke to rise, and shroud the area.

Before the dust could continue to unsettle and form a mini-sandstorm, a golden light shimmered from Yamasteh's location. A golden energy in the shape of a massive gauntlet, bigger than the stinger created by RockSalt's tentacles, appeared. It came from no other than Nisha.

Yamasteh looked like a god of gold as he came out of the structure, the massive golden energy coated his gauntlet. His every step carried immense power.

The previously playful look of RockSalt suddenly turned severe.

Nisha dashed from his position, the golden energy setting his path ablaze!

Refined Karat!

(Weapon Active Skill: Refined Karat) - Replicates the right hand of the Golden Buddha, carrying 300% of the user's attack power, dealing both physical and fire elemental magic damage. One time attack only. 2-Hour Cooldown Period.)

RockSalt, with his little giant stinger, looked like a mini-scorpion in front of the massive fist. However, instead of cowering, he welcomed the attack head-on.

If only Al had warned Nisha.

Blood Compact!

The stinger-shaped formation of the tentacles exploded, changing into a liquid state of red blood. It immediately copied the size and shape of the golden fist.

Nisha was caught surprised, but it was too late for him to cancel his skill.

Boom!

The red and golden fist had a quick face-off with each other before the former swallowed the latter and the player behind it.

[Xexe. I'm sorry, Big Brother, I won't be of help to you today.] Sprawling on the ground, with only 1% of his HP remaining, Nisha still managed to squeeze another message for Al.

He was just about to close his eyes when RockSalt appeared before him with a wicked grin. The latter picked him up and looked him straight in the eyes with an undermining gaze.

"Haha! I told you, didn't I? You don't stage a drama in my territory, and expect a warm welcome! Now, leave your guild, and declare your allegiance to Stone Troopers." RockSalt jeered.

"Over my dead body." Nisha's answer was evident as the day as he released another punch towards RockSalt's face, which the latter easily dodged.

"Haha! You nasty kid! You're going to have a great time in my guild tomorrow! But for now, die!" RockSalt hurled the almost-dead Yamasteh in the air, while his tentacles prepared to impale the latter.

"The weak have no place in the Open World unless they cower under the wings of the strong!" RockSalt declared as he willed the tentacles to pierce Yamasteh in midair.

Shing!

Just when the tentacles were about to claim Yamasteh's life, a white light enveloped the latter, restoring his HP to 10%, saving him from dying.

RockSalt immediately turned around, sensing something troublesome.

Perched on the main gate were six figures.

Leading them was a Human wearing a gilded black cuirass, with a great sword hung on his back. "Tsk tsk tsk. What have you done to my city, and trainee, RockSalt?"

"Hoho! You look like shit today, Nisha! And you really made us pick you up, you bastard!" A female armed with a massive crossbow named Tripod Sunset hollered.
