It seemed that Al and Zaito's fate was meant to compete with each other. Their threads of destiny were fighting for the same spot in the fabric of life - to be the best player in War Grounds!

Yesterday, Zaito suffered an unacceptable defeat at the hands of Al. He and his random team members were instantly killed after being blown out of the safe zone. As a consequence, he was reprimanded by the boot camp trainer, and forced to join the party system.

Zaito had a hard time coping with that loss. He was a recognized prodigy, one with a promising future. When it comes to technical skills among rookies, he was confident of being ranked at the top. However, on his debut, his momentum was immediately put into a halt. His progress was delayed because of one player - Udil!

Little did he know that any moment from now, he'll get to meet again the player that made him taste defeat for the first time.

"SwitchFoot, stop him! Udil, left lane is yours, I'll take a right!" Macca directed.

Papa Bear was the stubborn type of teammate. He'll do anything just to get what he wanted, even if it meant being reckless. One would need an iron hand to deal with this unreasonable man.

"Aye!" The humanoid horse galloped, completely transforming into a black stallion.

Tabdak! Tabdak!

The increase in SwitchFoot's movement speed became evident; he immediately closed the distance between him and Papa Bear. "Hey! Buddy! Stop! Wait for us!" He neighed as he matched the pace of the charging orc.

"Uh-oh!" SwitchFoot was just about to pounce on Papa Bear when he saw a green light shimmered from the Tower of Skulls ahead.

Papa Bear just happened to be near the tower, when five skeleton creatures emerged from the structure, four of which were equipped with corroded swords, and the last one in line was armed with a bone wand.

"Skulls!" Papa Bear was delighted. The bloodlust in his eyes could not be hidden. He was hungry for war! He immediately leaped in the air and raised his new weapon - a beautifully crafted war hammer made from blue gems and covered in yellow runes. A weapon with silver-colored label!

Boom!

The impact of the blow sent the creatures flying. However, something unexpected occurred. These monsters casually stood up and continued marching ahead, not daring to spare any attention toward their attacker. Their destination was the opposing white tower that looked like a lighthouse.

"Haha! This is fun!" Papa Bear kept on pounding the creatures, sending them flying back to the skull tower or smashing them to the ground.

"Hey, stop! I think that these creatures are our allies! Look ahead. Our real enemies have arrived!" SwitchFoot reverted to his humanoid form, before entering stealth mode. "Pat, please take care of that orc, I'll scout ahead." He typed before dashing through the maze of tombs.

"What choice do I have? ( -_- )" CancerIsLife replied.

Two players stood on the other side of the map, near the white tower with a fiery nest on its top. One was Zaito, and the other player was a bulky man covered in blue and white-colored spiky armor. The latter was wielding two bucklers, and currently blocking the pathway of five humanoid fireflies. He was a Divine Vanguard.

"Huh? Why is he attacking his creeps? What a weird guy." The armored man commented.

"Stay still, Pilades. It might be a trap. Hold on to the creeps, a little longer." Zaito advised. Deep inside, he sensed a hint of familiarity from the rampaging orc.

'Creep Block' was a common tactic in playing Tower Defense. The tank will hold off their spawned creeps as long as possible, so that when they engage the creeps from the opponent's side, they will have the assistance of their tower, on the condition that the enemies have entered the defensive turret's attack range. This will allow them to clear the monsters quickly.

"Leave it to me!" The player named Pilades responded, using his two bucklers he quickly blocked the pathway of the buzzing creeps.

"Hey, losers! Come here! What are you doing there?" Papa Bear hollered upon observing the lack of movement from the other side.

"Embers, Boba, Zhahk, what's the situation there?" Zaito did not mind the taunt from Papa Bear as he sent a message in their team chat.

"There's no one here in the left lane. Should Boba and I proceed in destroying the tower? Beware of an ambush." The player named JanuaryEmbers immediately replied.

"I can see a goblin ranger here in the right lane. I'm currently in stealth mode and just waiting for him to come out of his tower's attack range." Zhahk reported.

"Thanks. Two players are missing, then. There are an orc and dwarf here in my side. Beware of an ambush too. We'll start the push here in the mid lane." Zaito responded. "You may release the creeps now, Pilades."

"It's showtime!" Pilades grinned as he cleared the way for the humanoid fireflies. However, he immediately frowned upon seeing the situation on the other side. The skeletons creatures were not even able to cross at least half of the distance, between the two opposing towers as they were pinned down by the Orc.

"Tsss. We don't need the tower's aid in clearing those monsters, anyway!" Pilades clapped his shields like cymbals as he charged with the fireflies.

Meanwhile, Zaito's wand was swirling. Three balls of white flames were starting to form before him, each increasing in size as the seconds passed by. They were suspended in the space before their caster.

Salamance!

Three blazing white flames with the shape of a dragon's head, shot out of Zaito's direction, heading toward Papa Bear and his skeletal toys.

The grand light brought about by the enormous spell marked the start of the showdown between WisDOOM and Burning Orient!
