The three enormous white balls of flame in the shape of a dragon's head filled the sky in the middle lane. One could feel the temperature rising as the fireballs neared the ground.

"Hey! That's not fair! Who turned on the heater?" Papa Bear grumbled as he shamelessly charged to meet the creep wave of humanoid fireflies, unperturbed by the looming flames that were about to swallow him.

Boom!

The spell released by Zaito devoured the ground, shaking the area and burning it into crisp. Embers of white flames scorched the remains of the crushed pebbles and surrounding tombstones.

None of the skeleton-creeps survived. They were all eradicated by the spell, leaving no traces of bones in the area. However, a shadow of a massive orc could still be seen charging through the dissipating waves of white flames!

"Haha! What a weak skill! Is that all you got, kid?" Papa Bear was sneering as heroically emerged from the flames, unscathed by the massive destruction brought about by Zaito's Salamance. "Huh? I know you! You're that loser from yesterday's match! Haha!" He immediately pointed out upon getting a better view of the magician's profile.

'What a troublesome, dwarf.' Zaito was irked. At that moment, he was able to confirm Papa Bear's identity, but he ignored the orc. What got his attention the most was the dwarf standing on the other side. The reason why the orc did not receive any damage was because of the white orb, floating behind him - Sanctum Sphere!

'Sanctum Sphere' is a skill that grants 100% invulnerability against magical spells for five seconds. It was every charger and tank's dream buff. Obviously, the skill came from no other than the Dwarf Priest, CancerIsLife.

'Tsk. What a bothersome, fellow.' Pat expressed his disapproval towards the orc. He had just used his strongest buff skill on Papa Bear. It won't be until the next twenty minutes that he could utilize it again. He immediately caught the cold stare coming from Zaito.

"Hey! You're too noisy! Hit me with your strongest smash, and let me see what you got!" Pilades growled as he obstructed the charging orc's path.

"Oh? A talking creep? Cool!" Papa Bear remarked as he swept his hammer horizontally, sending the humanoid fireflies back.

Tsug!

"Tsss. Eat my shield and tell me that I'm a creep!" Pilades wrangled as he blocked the attack.

Buckler's Carapace!

Huge spikes spurted out of the two shields held by Pilades.

"Huh?" Papa Bear got confused as he received damage.

Name: Pilades

Level: 8

Rank: Rookie I

Race: Divine

Class: Vanguard

Pilades grinned. He had just activated a return-damage skill. "Hit me all you want! I'll take them all!"

The Vanguard Class ranks among the top when it comes to the role of a tank. In exchange for their lack of significant damage output, their defense was topnotch. They also have a unique passive ability called 'Angry Shield,' which increases their returned damage to opponents as their HP decreases. However, now that Pilades also has the buff of 'Angel's Blessing,' he was a self-regenerating thorn.

"I won't be polite, then! You're a good subject for my brother's gift!" Papa Bear grinned. His protruding fangs in the jaw were suddenly coated with blue electric particles. The war hammer in his hand was buzzing.

Zaito immediately felt a sense of danger. "Pilades! Get away from him as soon as possible!" He was no noob. The orc before him was currently wielding a crafted weapon, and all silver-labeled weapons have hidden skills, abilities that could change the tide of the game.

Facing an enemy with a unique weapon was already troublesome. How much more if he's got a healer to support him? It would be too much to bear!

'I need to deal with this dwarf, first!' Zaito muttered. "Boba. We need assistance here in the middle lane. Leave the left lane for Embers. He's more than enough to take good care of that area. Come here ASAP." He immediately sent a message in their team chat.

"Aye! Heading there now!" Boba responded without fussing about the situation - a sign of good teamwork.

Magical Space!

Zaito waved his wand, the cerulean blue sapphire gemstone mounted on its tip released a bright glow. He suddenly disappeared from his position.

Deck Slicer!

The Divine Magician instantly reappeared near the edge of the skull tower's attack range, where CancerIsLife was safely observing the battle. Playing cards imbued with magical energy immediately showered the area. The dwarf had no choice but to take the brunt of the spell! He was helpless about the surprise attack.

CancerIsLife will have to leave the turret's defensive area to dodge the AOE spell. However, he'll be more vulnerable as a consequence. Therefore, he chose to stay.

"Help!!!" Pat immediately requested assistance through the group chat.

"Papa Bear! Save CancerIsLife! I'm currently heading in the right lane now to aid Macca!" SwitchFoot quickly replied. However, he got no response.

The orc was busy chasing the Divine Vanguard. He was too occupied to read the chat.

Papa Bear's body was covered in an armor of blue electricity. He looked like a thunder beast. However, the most daring scene was that he was fighting Pilades within the attack range of the latter's turret. He had no regard for his life as he tanked the fiery projectiles fired by the tower because he was confident of his new weapon's strength and the presence of a healer.

The truth was that the orc was completely negligent of CancerIsLife's predicament. He assumed that the dwarf was just following him; when, in fact, the latter was currently pinned down by Zaito.

Thinking that his rapidly decreasing HP will be restored soon, Papa Bear seized the turret dive. He was having the time of his life. "Eat this! Haha! Skull Basher!" It was a scene of total madness.

Meanwhile, in the maze of tombs between the middle and left lane, Al could be seen desperately surveying the area. 'Smallest casket. Where is that?'

The tower in the left lane was under siege by humanoid fireflies, with the player named as JanuaryEmbers leading the attack. The latter had his showdown against the turret, receiving no interference from other characters. However, Al did not give a single damn of care as he continued his search.

On the right lane, Macca could not get out of his defensive turret, due to the lingering presence of Zhahk, who had successfully ambushed the latter, claiming 40% of his life.

"I'm here! You can get out now!" SwitchFoot, who was still in stealth mode, messaged. The goblin's rescue had finally arrived.

[JanuaryEmbers has destroyed the Skull Tower in the left lane.]

The system message appeared on everyone's screen. Meanwhile, Al did not mind the announcement as he stood before the smallest casket. He finally found what he's looking for. 'Hopefully, this is it!'
