[Ready.]

Satisfied with his preparations, Al pressed the ready button.

[Battle Field: Suicide Forest]

[Battle Type: 2 vs. 2, Quick Battle]

[Quick Battle: Eliminate all opponents to win the match. No time limit.]

[Team WisDOOM vs. Team Wandering Samurais]

'Huh? Why is the battle field's name a bit creepy? Samurais? Is it a National Samurai Day today?' Al was perplexed as he read the series of notifications on his black screen.

Two green pillars of light suddenly appeared in the middle of a dense forest; the duo was finally on the map.

"Shinto-Ryu!" Papa Bear excitedly screamed as his loud voice echoed throughout the dominion of towering trees covered by huge ropes that seemed to be made from rice straw or hemp. "Samurais! We're facing Samurais, Big Boss!" The huge orc excitedly clapped. He appeared to be unappreciative of the map's design as he talked about the samurais.

"Shhh! Bert. Look around you. Don't you find this place a bit odd?" Al glanced around, trying to size up the giant trees. "Are those bodies? Damn. This place is crazy. Who the hell designed this map?" The boy felt an oppressive aura upon absorbing the scenes around him. Looking above, one would find hanging bodies of lifeless people covered in white cloth. Virtual immersion really plays around with one's mind, tricking the user's senses and thoughts.

"Yeah. Now that you have mentioned it. This place is indeed creepy. However, I can't wait to smash some samurai's skulls! Charge to the enemies!" With a huge orcish grin, Papa Bear sped forth.

"Hey! Wait! Papa Bear! Dang!" Udil only shook his head as he trailed after the orc.

"What! Is that the product of mastering vibrations?" Macca wondered at the massive blue-spirit of a samurai looming above him with an open mouth.

"Dodge!" SwitchFoot suddenly warned as he transformed into a black stallion.

'This dude? He felt the vibration?' Osho was a bit surprised; however, he did not stop his offense as he grinned. His character's body remained steady with both of his hands firmly grasped on the black rayon handle of his crafted katana. Meanwhile, the enormous guardian spirit floating above him roared as the former moved his sword - an odachi.

The odachi was the long and huge version of a katana.

"Mikoto! Slice forth!" The eyes hidden behind the yellow tengu mask of Osho shone in blue colors as the spirit above him horizontally slashed his giant sword in response to his call. It was a quick and clean sweep.

SwitchFoot, Macca, and CancerIsLife were not able to put up a fight nor struggle as they were swallowed by a blade aura made from churning blue waves and stormy black clouds. The attack range was a wide circular slash, and it was too late for all of them to dodge.

A level five Osho took down three players in one attack. This was the power of his crafted weapon - Shogun's Wrath.

...

For a quick battle, the Suicide Forest seemed to be an inappropriate map. Aside from the negative energy coming from the hanged dead bodies, it was also a huge map to explore.

Realizing that they've been running for so long already, Papa Bear finally made some noise in the general chat. "Hey, samurais! Where are you?"

"Largest tree. Red shrine." A player named Dreaming Blade quickly answered.

Looking around, Papa Bear surveyed the area. The trunk of the trees was indeed increasing in size. However, the mossy floor of the forest seemed to be endless. There was only one path left - forward! "Wait for us! We're coming! Do you know about Shinto-Ryu?"

Papa Bear might be a war freak, but he was actually a gentle player, always curious about skulls and battle techniques.

"Yup. Why?" Dreaming Blade seemed to be a friendly fellow.

Meanwhile, Al kept on studying the surroundings. SARS was still busy in the Phase 2 Analysis of the Open World when he last checked. Without any assistance from the bot, the boy racked through his experiences, trying to guess what could be the features of the map. 'Not zombies, again please.' He was tired of it.

"Is that really a powerful technique in real life?" Papa Bear excitedly asked in the chat.

"Yup. You'll taste it in awhile. We can see you already. Come, let's fight man-to-man." A player named Battousai suddenly popped up in the chat.

"Nice! I like man-to-man fights! Where? Where? I can't see a red shrine!" Papa Bear was confused.

"Bert. Wait. It could be a trap." Al immediately warned in the chat. The trees were growing in sizes, and the number of hanged dead bodies in their large branches was increasing as the two went deeper into the forest.

'Suicide Forest.' Al repeated the two words in his mind as he ran after the orc, who was now a bit farther than his position. 'Am I overthinking?' However, the boy was immediately snapped from his daze when Papa Bear suddenly disappeared out of nowhere.

"Bert! Where are you?!" Al immediate sent a message in their team chat. However, a minute has already gone by, and there was still no reply. It was not until a system notification appeared that the boy finally heard an update about Papa Bear.

[Papa Bear has been slain by Battousai. Assisted by Dreaming Blade]

'Too fast! What's happening?!' Al was alarmed; he was just about to send another message when he found the chat option was no longer available.

'The internal messaging system!' Al's mind was on a high-alert. He immediately remembered that Sol had created an internal messaging system for them. Unfortunately, he could not access other applications.

War Grounds' main system was very versatile. It could create a lot of variations and set-ups in one's gaming experience during matches - sudden muting of chats, included among many.

...

SwitchFoot, Macca, and CancerIsLife were now resurrected. However, the three of them were not in an offensive stance as they were currently seated in a lotus position.

'Good. There's indeed no better teacher than experience.' Osho nodded his head in approval upon watching the three players before him.

After their deaths, Macca immediately begged for Osho to teach them the Shinto-Ryu, which they had previously mocked, thinking that it was just a made-up story.

Osho was extremely pleased upon looking at the begging faces of the three players. He immediately told them that the first step to feel the vibrations were to align their thoughts with their bodies through their breathing's rhythm. It was the first principle of Bushido.

According to him, aside from a skill's name, Bushido was indeed a technique that was practiced in real life. In simple terms, Osho grinned as he told them the real meaning of the word "or The Way of the Samurai."

In addition, Harvy testified that he indeed felt a vibration before Osho's attack, finally convincing the doubtful dwarf - Patrick. The three immediately followed all of their teacher's commands without any grumbling.
