Mo Shan limped while trying to flee. She had made out from past experience that the person just wanted to scare her. The car always stopped short of hitting her at the crucial moment.
She felt a little relieved with this in mind.
The person behind the wheel had received an order which was unknown to her. Placing his phone down, the driver let off his foot on the brake pedal and floored the accelerator, driving straight towards the woman in front.
A bolt of lightning struck across the dark night sky when Mo Shan felt something amiss behind her. She instinctively turned around.
It was too late. The car hit her head-on and sent her flying. She fell to the ground and rolled further out for two meters before grinding to a halt.
Blood quickly reddened the puddles in the alley. Meanwhile, the car continued to drive past her and conveniently ran over her right hand.
At the other end of the alley, the car watching the show had long gone.

On the next day, Lu Zhaoyang woke up early in the morning because of the sore eyes.
She wanted to go to the bathroom and subconsciously thought of Huo Yunting. But last night’s incident suddenly came to mind, reminding her that Huo Yunting had left.
“Miss Lu, I will help you put on shoes.” The experienced caregiver noticed her intentions and had already taken the shoes to the bedside.

Meanwhile, downstairs of Serena Apartments, Huo Chen sat in the car, looking out at the window on the third floor.
It had been ten days, and the lights in Yang Yang’s home had never lit up.
During this period, he had gone up there and knocked on the door several times, but no one answered.
