She got up, her eyes cold and the originally twenty minute commute was halved as she sped over. She went into Huo Chen's room the moment she arrived. No one was there!
She immediately went downstairs to look and as she passed by two of the soldiers, they were smiling.
The moment she got passed them, she heard them whispering to themselves.
"I heard our officer was a beast!"
"Yeah man, he even broke the bed!"
Over in the corner, Wen He heard them, and snorted. "Don't you go rambling there, I've not left yet! Where's Huo Chen?"
"Ah, Miss, we're just curious you know...." The two immediately responded apologetically. "Sir Huo is over at the shooting range, and it's not training time now, go, quickly!"
"I'll remember this!"
Wen He, with her privilege as Huo Chen's wife, easily gained access into the range.

The moment she stepped in, she heard a gunshot. As she turned to the target. Eighth ring!
That was unlike Huo Chen's standards.
As she took a better look, it was not.
Wen He started looking around and she quickly found that familiar figure.
Huo Chen held his hands behind him and looked on sternly at the soldiers pulling extra training on their marksmanship.

She smiled as she walked over and while she was made to wait because he did not return home last night, she still had to preserve his dignity before everyone.
"Why are you here?" A sliver of surprise flashed through his eyes.
Didn't she not like this place, now that he had sent her away, she instead returned herself.
The soldiers undergoing 'extra training' looked on and started chirping in their hearts. This is probably a chance for them to catch some break.
