She stood up to shake a hand with him and smiled back.
"Dr. Hailey Ybañez here, Dr. Wayne. "
Jim was taken aback.The name Hailey was familiar and the last name 'Ybañez' added to his curiousity. How was she related to Hailey's Pill and why was her name not mentioned ever by the family?
Sensing his confusion and his questioning look, she answered .
"I'll explain, Dr. Wayne. "
"Please have a seat. " He said as he sat down on a couch across her, separated by a glass center table.

Dr. Jim cast her his stolen glances. He just couldn't help comparing her to Dr. Grace. If one would not look at them closely, if one was not familiar with any of the two, he or she would really be deceived.
"It's a long story, Dr. Wayne but allow me to give you a short description of who really I am. " She paused and smile, giving Jim a time to breath and blink.
Then, she went on. "Yes, I am Dr. Grace's twin sister and we' re both daughters of mom Maxine Yee by infidelity. However, we are long reconciled and I am well accepted by mom and dad. Only that, my sister did not know about it until lately. "
Jim nodded as he listened intently.
"I worked hand in hand with Dr. Aijohn and I was the founder of the active enzyme of Hailey's Pill though it was both of us who studied on its characteristics. We knew ahead of its limitation but fortunately, I also found the solution. While he fearfully and helplessly watched Jia as she lost her self - control in keeping her pain and grief, while he imagined the depth of her sorrow when he would finally leave, his decision to live was confirmed.
She may not be his anymore when he would come back someday, but he would still have his children. If he wouldn't go with Hailey, he would have no other choice but the sure depths of his grave.
