Though their table was on the front row, if she would make her voice loud, they could be noticed by the crowd. "Hey, where are you two going?" Kuya Nap shouted, Jian was clinging on his side
"On a date! " She yelled back, getting the attention of the few among the crowd. They laughed, thinking it was so sweet of him.
"Uh, okay then.. Make many nieces and nephews for the single uncle! " The crowd laughed once more.

The moment they stepped inside, Jia slammed the door. Her eyes emitted fire that could easily burn the man she was with! She stood in front of him as she looked squarely into his face.She then held his two upper arms with each of her hand and tugged him.
He was silent and there was grief in his eyes. This strong man in front of her whom she had always known as such, had suddenly became a weakling. Tears were streaming silently in his face. He had been devoured of his own insecurities.
Suddenly, all her desire to shout at him, was gone. Because, she now understood...
"Jim, why do you do this? Why do you have to sell me to Anthon? Why do you have to hurt yourself?" Jia was now speaking softly and painfully.
He did not say anything. His breathing became shallow. He suddenly looked afraid. After what seemed like forever, he finally replied.
"I love you more than myself, Jia. I do not want to lose you. "
"Yes, you love me but you are feeding me just now to him. It is you yourself who is losing me!" Jia answered angrily.
"There's no way I could win over
him." Jim answered her.
"Damn it, Jim! We already planned the marriage. It was you who moved it back."
"Marriage is just a piece of paper if your heart is not with it! " He argued, making Jia sigh in frustration.
"Jim, how should I say it to make you believe me? I want you, I need you and it is you that I love now. Yes, it took me long to forget him but through all the years you had been with me, how could he ever still win against you? "

"Please place him in the room,
kuya! " She said as she pointed the direction of the room. "I have to hurry up! " There was still a hint of anger in her expression.
