「Oh, that’s right. My name is Kyle Bloody (カイル・ブロディ), age 25. I’m the town’s gatekeeper.」
「Were you born in this city, Kyle?」

「Oh, I forgot. This town is called Melt (メルト). Nothing special about this town, but the food and drink is great.」
「I see. About how long until we get to the church? I want to let this guy rest, so I want to get there quickly.」

Where he pointed to looked clearly like a typical church. It wasn’t too large, but it seemed like the townspeople could go there easily. A Sister in front of the church was making small talk, and Kyle started talking to her.
「Oh my, Kyle-kun, what are you doing here today?」
「Good afternoon Sister, today, I am just escorting this guy. His name’s Takuma.」
「My name is Takuma Satou. I came to make prayers, so Kyle showed me the way.」
He said that and greeted the Sister.
「Thank you for your courteousness. I am Mina (ミナ), a Sister of this church. Nice to meet you.」
「I wanted to make prayers as soon as I could, but first I want to get this pup cleaned of the blood, so is there a well or something?」
「Hey Takuma, earlier, you didn’t use Clear (クリア) on the chibi*… does your hometown not have any life magic (生活魔法*) in your hometown?」*TL: Chibi is little person or little thing, referring to the wolf pup. 生活魔法 is Seikatsu Mahou, literally “livelihood/daily life magic.”
「Hm? I didn’t say it earlier? My hometown doesn’t seem to have anything like magic.」
「No no no, I get that there are people who can’t use healing magic or offensive magic, but everyone in this world can use life magic, so what do you do about water and fire without it? 」
「Where I’m from, even if there was no life magic, we are still able to get water and fire, so we don’t have any magic.」
「Exactly what kind of world were you living in… I can’t imagine it.」
While chatting about that, Sister came to save me at the right moment.
「Well, well, let’s talk about that later. After I get the wolf pup clean, let’s make our prayers.」
She said that, and went towards the wolf pup.
「Please clean his impurities, Clear (クリア).」
(Oh, all the blood stuck to it disappeared in an instant! It’d be good if I could do it too.),
