Why is this thing that almost hit me, leaving a trail of blood behind it? In the short moment that it evened out with my line of sight, I thought I was looking at a shark's fin! Despite how slow this damn penguin was in my eyes, he was steadily closing the distance between us. Considering how long did it take him to overcome half of the initial gap separating us, I would have to start working my sword hard to not let him swallow me whole!
The same look also allowed me to confirm, that this godforgoten monster was missing a tip of its flipper! With even more blood soaking from its wound than from the part that I apparently managed to cut, this sight tempted me for a moment to aim for this stream of rich energy!
Thankfully, the time that it took me to grab the sword and absorb all the blood that I could find resulted in the ground being far to close for me to involve myself in such shenanigans! In fact, it was a lot closer than I would want it to be! If I don't do something soon, I might very well crash to my death!
