William opened his eyes several hours later, his eyes began displaying messages once more.
[Ding* System rebooting. Analyzing host condition
[Ding* Host currently unconscious, nanobots cleansing radiation from host. Host condition at 99.27% time remaining until host condition at full capacity 54 seconds. Awakening host with electrical discharge. Switching to audio communication
After a small surge of electricity William woke up.
After waking up William stood up dazed and confused "What happened?"
[Ding* Due to host being in range of radioactive pulse, host was knock unconscious, nanobots are currently cleansing radiation from host body.
William then stood up and looked around only to realize the battle was nearly over only a few of the humans remained, they were losing the battle.
William looked at them with indignation and a sense of urgency"Humans... they're in danger"
[Ding* System advises host that humans face annihilation should no aid be granted. Host secondary function is to protect humans.
William responded surprised "It's you again! You.. you're in my head... wait, I remember now. Father told me when I wake up you and I would be one, you used to be in that big computer in fathers lab.
[Ding* System advises host that the humans 40 meters north west face mortal danger, assistance must be provided. With host strength and speed rescuing humans should not be very difficult.
William responded while picking up a rock and crushing it instantly as he held it in his palms "you're right! I am strong!"
William responded "but although I'm quite strong I've never been in a fight, can you give me a hand with that?"
[Ding* Affirmative uploading all forms of martial arts known to host.
After a few seconds.
[Ding* Upload complete.
William picked up one of the swords of one of the fallen soldiers and sliced the heads of the creatures that were about to claim the lives of the last 3 humans remaining. The other creatures enraged by this… attacked. There were two types of creatures attacking the humans, one type were skeletons, some with rotting flesh some without, they were known as ghouls. They were wearing armor, most likely soldiers before turning into the living dead. The other creature's had an anatomy similar to humans however they had spiky ears, yellow eyes, pointy teeth, green skin and tiny horns known as goblins.
To the monsters surprise the young boy displayed astonishing skills with the sword and seemed to have super strength and speed; annihilating all those who came his way. Swords and spears would break apart when making contact with his skin, as if it were made of steel.
Unfortunately for William those attacking were merely minions of the true evil.
The ghouls and goblins were being commanded by Warlocks.
Not far stood a large and muscular creature who had a similar anatomy to humans as well but was clearly not human since he had light purple skin and had two horns on his head with red eyes. The creature had bronze colored full body armor on without a helmet and an exquisite sword on his waist. This was the Warlock general.
The general began talking in Warlock language "It seems the humans still had one powerful soldier left." The general then glanced at one of his subordinates near him, the Warlock looked similar to him except that his horns were much smaller, he was very skinny and was the only one wearing a robe rather than wearing armor. He had a book hanging from a strap on his shoulders to his waist, the book seemed to be made from a human's face that was screaming in agony.
The general spoke to the subordinate he was glancing at "Wizard, what level is his magical energy at?" The skinny Warlock replied "Give me a moment General."
The Warlock wizard begins chanting something as he does several hand signs.
As the wizard is chanting the general turns his head towards his other subordinates smiles and says "You're in luck men it seems you will get to have a bit more fun; I've already killed that 3 star gold rank that was with them" the general's facial expression changes into an evil smirk and says "How about we make it interesting; let's give the little human a fighting chance. Whoever has the closest amount of magical energy to that human will get to fight him".
The first to reply was a Warlock Captain"I hope he is a 6 star silver! I want rip him in two and eat all of his internal organs!"
The Captain was bulky with only one horn the other seemed to have broken off. The captain was holding a giant sword bigger than his body over his shoulder, he was wearing leather armor similar to what roman soldiers used to wear. The other Warlocks wore the same outfit.
The next to reply was a Warlock lieutenant "You already got to kill that 9 star platinum she was quite pretty I wanted to rip out her face; I hope he is a 3 star silver like me so I can get the chance to cut off his tongue"
This was very slender warlock with large and slightly curved horns, he had a dagger made of large bone*(probably human) across his chest and was holding a spear with several markings.
The last to reply was the warlock sergeant he replied in a slightly respectful yet angry voice"Captain, that 9 star platinum was supposed to be mine. You said I could have her yet you stole her from me!" his horns were small like the wizards but unlike the wizard he was extremely fat and was much uglier then the others, he had a round metal shield on his back and a short sword on his waist. The Warlock General began laughing disgustingly at the bickering of his subordinates.
The wizard suddenly stops chanting and responded shocked "That's impossible... it can't be... but I've checked 5 times already!" The warlock general glanced toward the wizard with a slightly shocked expression while still maintaining a smile "What's the matter wizard, you're not going to tell me he's a 9 star gold like me are you?" The general began laughing once more. The warlock wizard continued to reply with an extremely shocked expression "No General... I've checked 5 times already... at first I thought I simply chanted the incantation the wrong way." The wizard paused and continued "However, ..." he paused again. The warlock generals facial expression changed clearly showing he was angry and replied in low but murderous voice "Speak wizard my patience is wearing thin" the wizard immediately replied with a slightly frighten voice "General, I didn't sense any magical energy".
The warlock general replied in a confused and angry voice "What's that supposed to mean? Are you telling me he's just like those soldiers a mortal rank fighter?" The warlock wizard replied while looking down in low voice but everyone could still hear him "No General, he is completely different from those soldiers, that human..." he paused once more and continued "Has no magical energy, he is still a pure human with latent magical abilities." The warlock generals face changed to that of extreme shocked and yelled "WHAT?! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! All humans have magical energies even if they haven't awoken them! A new born baby has it!" The warlock wizard replied with confusion "I can't explain it General, but I've tested it 5 times now and the result is always the same."
The warlock general then responded shocked "Wait, if he has no magical energy how is he moving as if he has at least a 9 star platinum magical energy?" the warlock general began to panic and yelled "It's not possible, tell me wizard!" the warlock wizard who was still shocked and confused replied "I- I- don't know general". The warlock general became angry he looked towards the warlock captain and yelled "Captain, KILL THAT HUMAN!" The captain smiled and replied obediently "Yes, General" the lieutenant addressed the general as if in a hurry "General! If that human has no magical energy I will be enough to deal with him" The captain glanced toward the lieutenant with an angry expression and a domineering voice "Stand down lieutenant, I will handle this"
"You can all go! just kill him!" The general yelled
The wizard panicked"General! Please wait!"
"Shut up wizard or you're next" said the captain, annoyed
The wizard, ignoring the captain continued "If you kill him it would be such a waste"
"What are you talking about wizard?" said the General, slightly interested "Ignore him general let us kill him already" said the lieutenant in a rushed manner "Shut up lieutenant, speak wizard and it better be important or I'll kill you" said the General
The wizard smirked and said "Yes, general well you see. Pure humans with latent magical abilities, have a unique property to us warlocks. There is a spell that allows us to transfer our consciousness into them."
The Warlock general replied annoyed and confused "What are you trying to get at Wizard?"
The wizard with a smug face replied"General, as you mentioned earlier that human seems to have the strength and speed of a 9 star platinum at least, if he is that strong without magical abilities, imagine how strong he'll be with say, your magical rank..."
