"It's done, after two years I've finally broken through" said William after exhaling a breath of air.

William then got up from his bed, although he'd grown much taller his hair dragged on the floor behind him. He proceeded outside and headed downstairs where he ran into Moj Dak.

"William you've finally broken through, congratulations you are now a magician cultivator." said Moj Dak

"Moj Dak you're back" replied William.

"Of course, I've been back for a while now. Well, nine months to be exact" replied Moj Dak.

"Right, I've been cultivating for two years." replied William as he contemplated deeply.

Nin Li flew by at this time.

"Young master! You're finally done cultivating! Wow you got taller! Oh and your hair! It's much too long we'll have to cut it!" yelled Nin Li excited as she flew around William.

William then noticed that his hair was much too long and picked it up from the floor staring at it momentarily.

"Can you cut my hair for me?" asked William as he looked at Nin Li

Both Moj Dak and Nin Li stared at William and soon began to smile.

"Sure I can, I'm an excellent groomer." replied Nin Li with a smile.

Nin Li proceeded to cutting William's hair very short. Ni Li certainly wasn't lying when she said she was an excellent groomer, as she did an outstanding job at grooming William's soft blonde hair perfectly.

Afterwards William bathed and changed into fresh clothes and went back down to see Moj Dak.

"Moj Dak were you able to get all the scrolls that you needed?" asked William.

"Why yes, all three are now in my possession. Though I must say they weren't easy to obtain..." said Moj Dak as he proceeded to tell William of all he went through leaving only some details out.

"Master enough already, you're going to make his ears fall off if you keep talking" said Nin Li as she flew into Moj Dak's office.

"Nonsense! He is the one who asked!" said Moj Dak as he chuckled.

"Young master do you want to go into the city with me? I'm heading out there to get a few things I need for my puppets" asked Nin Li

"No, maybe another time Nin Li. Now that I'm a Magician, I want to do something that I've been itching to do since I found out about magic." replied William

"You mean cast spells?" replied Nin Li

"Yes! W-" replied William as he was about to cast a spell but was interrupted.

"William wait... don't cast any spells" replied Moj Dak

"What? Why?" replied William.

"As you know from the warlock general's memory there are some restrictions to spell-casting. Every race has it's own unique type of restriction. Fairies can only cast wish and life type spells, elves can only cast spirit and nature type, warlocks can cast chaos and blood, etc. My point is human's have restrictions too, and it is known as the nine categories restriction." replied Moj Dak

"Nine categories restriction... well what does that mean?" asked William

"The nine categories restriction means that humans can only cast nine types of spells their whole life. Once you cast nine different types of spells you, won't be able to cast a tenth." replied Moj Dak

"So I can only cast nine spells my whole life?" asked William

"No, you can cast an infinite amount of different spells. As long as they fit within the branch of your initial nine spells." replied Moj Dak.

"Can you elaborate further?" asked William.

"If you cast a divination type spell that will be the first branch of spells you can cast, and as long as it fits within that branch you will be able to cast as many spells as you want in divination. If you have enough mana that is..." replied Moj Dak.

"How many branches are there?" asked William

"There are thousands if not more, to be honest not all types have been discovered yet and some have been lost with time. It can be anywhere from, divination, hex, jinx, curse, illusion, creation, enchant, dream, plant, light, dark, healing, charm, etc. There are too many to name all at once really." replied Moj Dak

"Out of the thousands of types I can only choose nine..." replied William

"Yes, you may possess an attribute-less cultivation, but in reality that only makes things harder for you. Since, it means you have a longer list of choices." replied Moj Dak

"I will need to do some research to find which nine I'll choose." replied William.

"Also, William there is one more thing. The first spell type you cast will always be you're most powerful type of spell, as it will be the spell branch closest to your magic gate. The other spells won't be weak in any way. However the amount of mana required to reach each spell, is increased the farther from your magic gate they are." replied Moj Dak

"Do ritual hand-signs fall under the same restriction?" asked William.

"No, but most ritual hand-signs require spells to accompany them." replied Moj Dak

"Thanks for the information Moj Dak, I will do some research and decide what types of spells I will use." replied William as he slightly bowed and walked out of the office.

William then walked upstairs to the library.

"System take over and read all of the spell books and rituals you haven't read yet." thought William.
