"If you could help me find what I am looking for that would be a great help" said William as he turned around.
"Good, why don't you follow us we'll show you where it is..." said the same man with a smirk as he pulled William's arm.
"I haven't said what I'm looking for yet" said William
"Don't worry we can read your mind we know where you want to go" replied the same man as he continued to pull William towards a dark ally.
"Read my mind... interesting..." said William with a smirk not resisting the man's pull.
The three walked through the dark alley for a while, until they finally got to the other side. Once through the other side there were at least one hundred, thug looking characters waiting for William to show up. The man holding William's arm pulled him to the center and they immediately closed the way behind him.
William was completely surrounded now.
"I think you read someone else's mind this is definitely not what I'm looking for" said William
All of the men were laughing at William insulting him calling him names.
"He looks like he wants his mommy"
"Don't wet your pants little boy"
"Your gonna fucking die kid"
They continued laugh at him for a moment longer until suddenly everyone became quite as a path suddenly began to open.
"Oh look who's here, I've been looking for you for quite a bit now" said big boss Xuan as he walked into the crowd with two skinny looking dudes, wearing a mask that covered only the upper part of their face leaving their sharp teeth exposed.
"Oh it's you! long time no see, how's the fighting business going" asked William
"Oh it's doing great actually, thanks for asking and how are you doing" replied big boss Xuan.
"I'm doing alright actually, I haven't gone out in a while so it's really nice to see people again" replied William
The two causally exchanged a few more words.
"So kid I sincerely hope you know what's going to happen here" said big boss Xuan
Big boss Xuan was currently thinking that he is going to have everyone here beat William, until he wass near death then he was going to have the two guys with masks eat him alive.
"Are you here to apologize for what happen last time? I already told you that with the money you gave me, I already let bygones be bygones. Why are you insisting on continuing to apologize?" said William with a serious voice.
"Kid you-" big boss Xuan was about to say something but was interrupted
"Fine if you insist on it so much, why don't you shut your mouth and slap yourself in the face one hundred times as hard as you can. Then we can finally let this matter go to rest." said William as he took out a high tear soul stone and crushed it.
When he crushed the high tear soul stone it seemed to have exploded in his hand.
A small circular tattoo with a letter on it appeared on the front side of William's wrist.
Big boss Xuan was then unable to open his mouth and proceeded to slap himself as hard as he could multiple times. All the thugs were completely confused by what was happening, and were looking at big boss Xuan slapping himself senseless. After a couple of slaps someone finally reacted.
"Big boss Xuan calm down!" said one of the thugs as he tried to stop big boss Xuan but was unsuccessful.
"It's a mind control type spell! That kid used a mind control type spell!" yelled a green haired thug.
"How can that be?! He was only a one star bronze! Big boss Xuan is five star silver rank already! There's no way he has enough mana to cast a spell powerful enough control big boss Xuan!" yelled a fat thug.
"I don't know how he did it but that was definitely a mind control spell! Just look at the boss! There's no one stopping him until he completes what the kid told him!" yelled the green haired thug.
"He used a high tear soul stone to make up for his lack of mana" said one of the masked man that came with big boss Xuan with a creepy low voice.
"That's what that was! He did it so fast I wasn't able to tell what it was!" yelled a thug.
"Where is the boy?" said the masked man with his creepy voice
It was then that the other thugs noticed that William had snuck away ages ago.
Meanwhile twenty blocks away on top of some two and three story buildings.
"I have to contact Nin Li, that almost got too dangerous for a minute. I wasn't sure that would work, I'm glad it did though. It's a shame about the high tier soul stone though." said William as he was jumping across buildings at an astonishing speed.
William proceeded to contact Nin Li through his necklace, once they met up he told her what happened and how he got away. Nin Li was impressed by William's quick thinking and was worried at the same time that something could have happened to him.
"Young master you shouldn't leave my side anymore, there are some bad people here that wouldn't bat an eyelash when hurting a child." said Nin Li with a worried face.
"Don't worry Nin Li, I can take care of myself" replied William with a smile.
"Even so, just stay close to me please" said Nin Li with a worried face as she made direct eye contact with William.
"Alright" replied William as he felt embarrassed by Nin Li's stare.
"I'm already done getting the things I needed, I take it you weren't able to get what you needed." said Nin Li
"I wasn't but I can come back another day, we should head back to the tower. Now that I've casted my first spell there's some experiments that I wish to conduct." said William
"Very well, lets head back" said Nin Li
The two then went back to the tower the sun was setting by the time they got back. William went straight to his room, Nin Li hung around outside for a while inspecting the force field.
