"No what I want to offer is information" answered William
"You already gave me all I need, I know this because you swore an oath"
replied Moj Dak
"I swore to give you all the spells and rituals I new and I did. What I want to
offer you is not spells or rituals, I know the location of 3 ultra rare scrolls that
you might want" replied William
"You... you tricked me" replied Moj Dak
"You agreed to the terms, anyways are you interested?" replied William
"Yes, I'm interested. What do you want in return?" replied Moj Dak excited
"First, I want to be able to stay here for as long as I want. Second, I want you
to teach me the common language. Third, I want you to show me around the
nearest human city." said William
"You want to live here? Fine. Yes, I will teach you the common language I
suppose since you'll be living here. Regarding the showing you around the
city, I don't go to the city often so I don't know my way around that well. I'll
ask Nin Li to show you around. Tell me where the scrolls are so I can go get
them" replied Moj Dak
"First, of all I need you to teach me first since who knows how long you'll
take to get the scrolls. You can't teleport where you haven't been before and
to get the scrolls you go through certain trials. Secondly, you must swear a
nine-nine heavenly tribulation before I tell you anything." replied William
"Nine-nine heavenly tribulation, I'm not falling for that again. This time you have to
swear that you are give me everything you think I might be interested in-"
said Moj Dak angry but stopped as if realizing something.
"Very well, I'll swear. I doubt you'll be interested in anything else. Unless,
you are interested in the location of some magic items which are not worth
the trouble to get really. Also, some project relating to a wild beast the warlocks
were trying to create-" said William before he was interrupted by Moj Dak
"Did you say trials?" asked Moj Dak shocked
"Yes, each of the scrolls has trials you go through to get them" replied
William
"Tell me what are the names of the scrolls you speak of?" said Moj Dak
"The general really didn't know much about the names of the scrolls, all he
knew was their location and what trials you must go through to get them. He
noticed they seemed quite dangerous, so he was planning to go get them once
he reached diamond rank." replied William
"What do the trials consist of" replied Moj Dak with a look of shock and
desperation
"One was storm, the second ice, and the third lightning" replied William
When Moj Dak heard what the three trials consist of he was no longer able to
keep standing and fell on his knees. He then started laughing like a crazy
person while looking up.
"Master are you okay?" asked Nin Li with her cute voice
"So we have a deal I take it?" asked William
Moj Dak stopped laughing and looked at William. He then had a serious look on
his face.
"I'll give you all that you asked and even swear to it. All, that I ask is that you
swear that what you told me about the scrolls is true and that you will leave
no information out regarding them. I don't care about anything else." replied
Moj Dak as he stood up
"Deal" replied William
They then both proceeded to make their oaths by the nine-nine heavenly
tribulation. Once, more 18 lightning strikes rang outside.
"William we will start the lessons immediately, I hope you give it your all to
learn" said Moj Dak
"Ofcourse" replied William
Moj Dak then proceeded to teaching William the common language among
humans for the next week.
One week later
"You sure did learn much faster then I thought you would kid, I thought this
would take months. There is nothing more I can teach you, you are fluent in
gido now" said Moj Dak
"I appreciate you're help Moj, your teaching skills are superb" replied
William
"Now that you can speak the language, you can go around the human city
with Nin Li. I will begin to prepare the things I will need for my expedition"
said Moj Dak
William walked out of Moj Dak's office and started looking around the tower.
"Nin Li! Where are you?!" Yelled William
The cute fairy came flying towards William
"Ah William, do you need something?" Replied Nin Li in a cute voice
"I want to go into the city, can you accompany me and show me around?" Replied William
"Sure, I'll prepare the carriage" replied Nin Li
"Carriage? I'm sure you've been there before, can't we just teleport with you're ring?" Asked William
"My ring...? Oh you mean like master's thousand teleport. Unfortunately, that magic item is one of a kind and master never parts with it" replied Nin Li
"Oh isn't there another way to teleport there?" replied William
"Well, do I know a way but it would take longer to setup the teleportation gate then it is to get there by carriage. Also, I don't have enough soul crystals right now. Master might, we could ask him to give it to us." replied Nin Li
"Nevermind we'll take the carriage" replied William
"I'll go get it ready" said Nin Li as she flew off.
