I just happened to pass by this room when you were calling for help so I stuck my nose in it. Right, I still have some areas I haven't explored. I'm supposed to start work tomorrow..." She ended up trying to explain herself. 'What "Exploring because I have work tomorrow"?! I'm not going to be a hit on my first day, I still have time to explore during work hours! When they reached the Aster Garden in the front courtyard, the pair saw a handsome man, standing just inside the round opening in the wall known as the entrance, his back facing them. Even from the back he looked handsomely beautiful, with his smooth, raven black hair and straight, serious posture yet with a mellow air around him. He was wearing a plain, dark green robe under partial silver armor, the same style as the guard that had escorted Wen Ruocheng out.
Seeing the man, Su Yuan blushed as a loving expression entered his eyes. But a second later, his face paled as his eyes filled with shame and guilt. Not wanting him to back out or suffer in silence, Shen Tianyu dragged him to the Aster Garden and shouted as she waved her hands.
"Heeeyy! Mr. Che!"
The handsome man turned around at the sound of someone calling him and widened his eyes. The first thing he saw was the silver haired beauty following behind the girl, being pulled along by the hand. His serious face then softened and a loving expression took it's place. When the beauty arrived in front of him, he stretched out his hand to caress his cheek.
"Su Yuan, what is it?" he asked in a soft, loving tone.
"Heeeyyy! I'm here too!" A feminine voice interrupted his reverie. He then turned toward the girl who had called out.
"Oh. Hello, Miss. What is the matter?" He asked in a more formal tone.
'Geez. I was here since the beginning. How dare he ignore me like that?' Shen Tianyu pouted in her mind. "Right. I heard you were close with Su Yuan so I brought him here." she responded.
"And why is that necessary?" Che Shian furrowed his brows.
"That bastard son of the Wen family almost raped him! Thankfully, I was nearby and, as a kindhearted person, I helped him." she put her hands on her hips with a proud look on her face.
Ignoring her self-praise, or perhaps he just didn't hear the second part of her explanation, Che Shian's face took on a worried look as he walked towards Su Yuan and hugged him. Surprised, Su Yuan didn't move and let him. After a while, Che Shian extracted himself and held Su Yuan's shoulders at arms length, looking him over.
"Yuan, are you alright? He didn't manage to do anything to you? Do you want to take time off for a while? I can talk to Manager Sung. Speaking of which, we need to tell the Manager about this right away. I won't let that bastard go!" He rambled on his own in quick succession, not giving Su Yuan the chance to respond.
"I can do that." Shen Tianyu, who had been listening at the side, raised her hand. "I think it's better if he spends time with you right now instead of being alone or with someone else. I'll go tell Manager Sung."
Che Shian turned toward the girl and replied gratefully "Thank you very much. Come to think of it, I have not gotten this Miss's name."
