It was actually one of the strongest protection arrays, no one was able to get past it's barrier unless they were at Immortal Ascension Level or higher, which was to mean they couldn't break past it unless they were a god. At present, the array is known to require at least five casters to stimultaneously launch the formation, injecting their spiritual energy into their assigned keystones at their location for it to launch. They must maintian a steady flow of spiritual energy to keep up the barrier. If any of them were killed or harmed, a new "guard" must be selected within the next stick of incense. And it wasn't just a matter of finding someone with vast amounts of spiritual energy either. Each keystone, like the mythical beasts, adhered to an element. If the person wasn't "compatible" with the element of the failing keystone, they were the same as useless no matter how much spiritual energy they had. The research on the "elements" of the formation was still being investigated so the holders of the keystones were currently based on trial and error. As long as the person wasn't rejected by the keystone and had a decent amount of spiritual power, along with having a decent personality and morals, they could become the "guard" of the keystone. If they couldn't find a replacement "guard", the array formation would go wild. The best case scenario was if it just dissipates. The worst was it growing a mind of it's own and transforms into a dangerous formation, trapping the people it was supposed to protect and picking them off one by one to maintain it's own existence, starting with the other initial casters.

It took her a little longer to write all the details of the formation, the question didn't ask the test taker to write about it in detail but better to be safe than sorry. When she finished her two questions, she looked over at Ningwu Liushan's paper. He had filled in the bare minimum required for the second question but was still trying to come up with an answer for the first. Sure he had more tme to discover and study the Silencing Talisman but everyone thought the entrance exam still had yet to start. That's why even they didn't pay much attention to the Registration Hall but was attentive enought to notice the fountain despite being at the Registration Hall longer.

Shen Tianyu tapped on his arm, looking around to see no one was looking at them. As one would anticipate, everyone was either holding their heads with their eyes closed to recall something, or glaring at their own paper. Ningwu Liushan turned to her, thinking she needed some help. She just smiled at him and slid her paper over until it was next to his so he could see her answers. He looked down at her paper then back at her face in surprise. She just held one of her fingers to her lips to tell him to keep quiet about it. He nodded with gratitude at her and a hint of worry but still wrote down his own answer after reading hers so it wouldn't be as obvious.

'He's so cautious. Though, if the School was worried abotu this kind of thing, there'd already be an Array or Talisman in place so they could monitor the whole room so this kind of simple tactic is pointless.' She commented to herself as she watched him. The proctor didn't say anything about not being allowed to look at other people's answers during the written test so she merely used that loophole. Besides, Ningwu Liushan wans't taking a peek, she was the one that actively gave him the answers so they can't disqualify him for that. The others were probably too prideful to do such a thing for a simple two-question test, assuming if they had realized this loophole already. She then tapped on his shoulder again when he was done and pointed to his other side. Bai Longtian had written one sentence to answer the second queston but was still staring down at the paper. The slot for the first question was still empty.

Ningwu Liushan nodded his understanding and did the same thing she did to him. Bai Longtian looked at him questioningly at the slightly smiling Ningwu Liushan, down at his paper the latter was sliding over and furrowed his brow. Ningwu Liushan gave a helpless expression and wrote on his arm with his finger, apparently telling him it was ok. And Bai Longtian did the same thing Ningwu Liushan did, read the answer and formulated his own. As Ningwu Liushan was watching him do this, Shen Tainyu tapped his shoulder and pointed down at the proctor standing in the middle of the pit. He nodded back at her and she got up with her finished test paper, cinnabar stick and number plaque. Jumping above the other sitting applicants, so she wouldn't have to shove her way throught them and get annoyed glares, she landed just inside the little circle of space in front of the proctor and dusted off some nonexistent dust on her robes. She then turned in her paper with a neutral expression, handing over her nuber plaque with her other hand. Thr proctor wrote her number on the top of the shee tof paper and took her cinnabar stick. He then put the test paper into his Cosmo pouch at his waist and nodded to her. Next, he produced another talisman from his sleeve and gave it to her. She took it with a smile and left the venue, leaping over the other students again to reach the single entrance and exit point of the big room.

The talisman that was handed over to her was a rectangular slip of paper with scripted words that seemeed to flow into each other. On the borders was a straight rectangle as if to contain the words it held. The back of the talisman was plain, with the characters and rectangle on the other side bleeding through being the only thing one could see. It was a simple Guiding Talisman, that led someone to where the Talisman Maker wanted them to go. It was one of the simpler Talismans to make and was even more simpler for the person using it. All they, the user, had to do was blow a breath of their spiritual power into it.

She leaned on the wall at the side of the gymnasium's entrance and folded her arms to wait. When she left, she had seen Ningwu Liushan and Bai Longtian get up from the peripheral of her vision so they should be leaving soon. And sure enough, both men landed at the entrance with a talisman in their hands. Shen Tianyu got up and unfolded her arms to walk up to them.

"Junior sister Tianyu, thank you very much." Ningwu Liushan's first act was to thank her and Bai Longtian looked at him in confusion. Well, with as much confusion as he could muster onto that expressionless face.

"Let's talk on our way to the practical test's grounds." She responded by shaking her talisman.

Both of them nodded and all three of them blew on their talismans, which then got surrounded by a faint light. The small light surrounding Shen Tianyu's talisman was gold, while Ningwu Liushan's was a soft green and Bai Longtian got a shining silver. The talismans floated out of their hands and stoof still for a moment before moving forward as if it was a bird and not a scrap of paper being blown by some wind. The three followed it South, back the direction they came from but on a different path. When they were fully out of sight of the gymnasium, they started talking again.

"By the way, there's no need to thank me. We're friends aren't we?" Shen Tianyu started.

"Well but still... thank you for doing such a thing for us. It wold have been dangerous if the proctor found out." Ningwu Liushan responded.

"Huh? You mean you didn't notice?"

Ningwu Liushan and Bai Longtian looked at her questioningly.

"The proctor didn't say we couldn't cheat off of other people during the written test. Besides, if they were worried about that, don't you think the Department would have laid down some kind of Array Formation or put some Talismans oall over the venue to catch those people? So what you guys did, changing your answers to match your own styles, would kind of have been pointless. Besides, you didn't cheat off me, I gave you my answers. That's a different thing than cheating. And since the proctor didn't say anything about not cheating during the test, so they can't complain if we go into technicalities if they do decide to charge us with that." She explained to the two boys following her. "I thought you guys already figured that out and that was why you wrote down the answers so readily."

"Well... not exactly... I just thought it would be fine as long as I didn't copy it exactly since it didn't seem like the proctor was paying attention. But now that you mentiaon it..." Ningwu Liushan trailed off in embarassment.
