It pounced on her again and even roared. Good thing, Shen Tianyu had been protecting her body with her spiritual power the entire time and even made extra protection for her organs. It shook her to the core and increased the throbbing of her headache despite her barely being able to hear it by this point. 'Oh no. I'm not going to loose my hearing right? I need to call up Luo Shue and maybe even Tian Yu after this. I swear if I don't get accepted, I'm going to file a lawsuit to at least recompensate my damaged ears. Wait, there's no phones or anything here, I'm going to need to send a pigeon or something. Ugh. That'll take days.' She talked to herself as she flung out her whip to keep the Dead Soul Beast at bay, even for just a momet, to regain her footing and sense of balance.

Since she couldn't figure out a good way to injure it, she continued the game of cat and mouse. She still tried to aim for it's eyes but it always managed to block her whip. Her headache was getting increasingly worse as time went by and it continued to roar like it's vocal chords were indestructible, which might have been the case. Perhaps the fight was taking too long because Shen Tianyu, despite her near nauseating headache, sensed something come within the bounds of the makeshift ring. And it wasn't anything small either. Because the Ddead Soul Beast froze in it's tracks and glared cautiously at the intruder. Shen Tianyu was a step late, making sure it wasn't just some trick and that the Dead Soul Beast really was glaring at something. She turned her head slightly sideways and saw the intruding demonic beast, the Undead Gluttonous Boar. She tried to find signs that it would add to her load but that didn't seem to be the case as the Dead Soul Beast took a hostile stance.

The Undead Gluttonous Boar, as the name implies, was an undead boar. To be more specific, it was a rotting boar corpse. The strange thing about it was, even thought they were always clearly rotting, their flesh doesn't drip from their body or fall off, they just naturally decay into dust. They were more easy to attack then a Dead Soul Beast. If you could stand the sight of their bodies and their smell. Luckily the wind was blowing against the Undead Gluttonous Boar so the full smell didn't reach Shen Tianyu. This Undead Gluttonous Boar had it's entire ribcage showing and small spots in other places that showed off it's pristinely white bones. It's eyes were a glassy yellow even as it looked at the Dead Soul Beast. It wasn't like the Undead Gluttonous Boars die when their flesh completely rots off their body though. They just wonder around as a boar skeleton until someone kills it and if it gained enough power, it could regain it's rotting form. And they don't gain power by cultivating like humans, though demonic beasts almost never use cultivation so it should be obvious, they do so by eating. They eat everything and anything or die trying including but not limited to other demonic beasts, normal animals, plants, human cultivators, ordinary humans, cultivation objects, and poisons. And since it was more or less undead, most of the poisons that would kill a cultivator doesn't work on it but instead accumulates in it's bones as some kind of defense mechanism. Despite being a corpse, it has the special ability to digest whatever it places in it's mouth even if their organswere no longer functioning. This ability was, it absorb what it eats little by little into it's bones, since they wouldn't rot as fast. This not only reinforces their skeletons, gives them a longer lasting physical body, but also gives them more power. And even if all of their flesh rot into nothing, their skeletons will still give off a bile-inducing rotting stench wherever it goes. Also, it's disturbing to watch a living, writhing creature being slowly absorbed into a moving skeleton while it was inside said skeleton.

Shen Tianyu immediately covered her nose and mouth with her hand holding her whip. She'd heard stories about people from her home, Yaodu, passing out just from a whif of the smell. How they survived the demonic beast's gluttony, she had no idea. The Undead Gluttonous Boar also took a offensive stance and clacked it's jaws rapidly. It was like Morse Code but in demonic beast speech. It's vocal chords weren't working after all. The Undead Soul Beast gave a low roar in reply. Not wanting to get in the two's way of having a conversation, and not wanting to face a direct hit from either the smell or the shockwave, Shen Tianyu ducked sideways and moved out of the way, all the way to the edge of the makeshift ring using demonic beast corpses covered in blood and still bleeding into a big pool on the sandy ground. Her clothes were torn in several places, though nowhere embarrasing, that showcased all her scars. But she didn't mind since demonic beasts wouldn't care about them anyways. Some dumber ones would probably treat them as badges of honor and pay respect to her or something. The only ones that really minded them were humans.

'The Dead Soul Beast seems guarded about the Undead Gluttonous Boar, it's probably eaten quite a few things.' She thought to herself as she warily tended to her wounds and listened to teh two high-level demonic beasts communicate with each other. And then, for a reason unbeknownst to her, the two started fighting. She was still tending to her wounds by wrapping bits of her clothes to try to stop the bleeding of certain wounds while also massaging her temples to try and not pass out from the headache.

The Dead Soul Beast let out a war cry and charged at the Undead Gluttonous Boar with it's claws extended. The Undead Gluttonous Boar gave a final clack of it's bony mouth and also charged at it's opponent. Shen Tianyu was surprised, 'Weren't they on the same side?', but didn't care too much since it'll mean easy pickings for her later. She'd have rested during their fight while they got injured and maybe that'll be easier to kill whichever one was left.

She only kept a glancing eye on the fight as she tried to absorb spiritual power to help her healing process while maintaining her many shields to fight off some of the affects of the Dead Soul Beast's shockwave roars. She couldn't get out of the ring since who knows if the demonic beasts outside it would rush her when she did. And in her situaton, she needed to regain a bit of power while the two strong demonic beasts weren't paying her anyattention. However, staying in the circle meant being in close range to the Dead Soul Beast's shockwave roar, so even though she was injured and and drained and it was a good idea to circulate her spiritual power to accelerat her healing process even more, she didn't. She'd just worsen the damage by not having any protections in place when the next roar comes.

She didn't know how much time had passed but most of her wounds had stopped bleeding by the time the fight stopped. And, unexpectedly, it was the Undead Gluttonous Boar that won. The Dead Soul Beast was trampled under it's rotting feet, looking like it wanted to wretch. Guess the smell got to it.

'How unexpected, for a Progenitor to be beaten by a common demonic beast. Dead Soul Beasts aren't top-tier but more upper middle tier in terms of strength. Yet the Undead Gluttonous Boar beat that? How unerving. It might be more trouble than the Dead Soul Beast. At least it's easier to kill than trying to go through a Dead Soul Beast's armor of a hide.' She thought as she gripped her whip and sheathed her sword. Because of it's smell, it wasn't a good idea to do close combat with it and keeping a distance would also keep it from injuring her. Though Undead Gluttonous Boars had plenty of potential in terms of power growth, it couldn't overcome it's natural weaknesses so eaily. Because it was what it is, they don't have any ranged combat techniques or anything except for their smell, if that can be called a technique. And, it was only called "Undead" because they were still moving despite clearly rotting. They weren't actually unkillable. As long as one could destroy it's "heart", the Boar will collapse and turn into dust in the blink of an eye. This didn't mean a live beating heart of the animal, but a stone that more or less kept the body alive. This "stone" was made of condensed demonic energy and resentment, residing within it's never deteriorating body, their skeleton. However, each Undead gluttonous Boar had their demonic "heart" in different places so one couldn't estimate where it was. And even if someone could guess it, they'd have ot get through the defenses of the bones first.
