At noon, Shen Tianyu woke up and cleaned herself up. She then went to the back mountains again to cultivate. And again, as evening came, she went back to Lavender Palace to work. (1)
And so, she lived like this for a week or so. Chatting with customers and accompanying Rong Jian whenever he came. Free to do as she wished, free to rest whenever she wanted.

A short while later, however, trouble arose for her again.
"Shen Tianyu! Get out here! You ungrateful thing!" A woman yelled at the wooden gates of Lavender Palace. She was wearing a white robe with lotuses stitched on the hem. On top of it was a pale yellow coat with plum blossoms stitched on. Behind her was a couple of a man and woman wearing servants robes with the Shen family's crest. The woman who yelled had her hands on her hips and an angry look on her face. She made such a big ruckus, employees of Lavender Palace were looking at the gate with disdain in addition to the crowd of commoners shaking their heads at her.
'A good lady from the Shen family, what is she doing, causing trouble in front of Lavender Palace.'
'Who is this rude woman? Causing such a ruckus in the middle of the day!'
She kept making trouble and soon enough Che Shian walked out the gate with an annoyed look. "This Miss, what are you doing, causing such a ruckus in midday?"
Seeing his handsome appearance and high cultivation base, the woman's angry expression fell, replaced by flattery. "This Young Master... who might you be?"
"Who I am doesn't matter. Stop causing trouble in front of our Lavender Palace."
She then took on a pitiful look. "This sin't something. Want to do. I'm a Miss of Shen Residence after all. But Shen Tianyu that ungrateful woman, right after finding a place at Lavender Palace, she caused trouble for the Wen family. Because they couldn't retaliate, they started causing trouble for our Shen Family. I merely want to teach her some gratefulness."
"Oh? So it's Miss Shen Luo. And?" Che Shian folded his arms in front of him with an annoyed look tinged with disdain. 'They sold her off and now want to put blame on her head? Was she born to be your Shen Family's slave?!'
Shen Luo finally dropped her pretense and her face twisted in anger. She was the favored Miss of Shen Estate, and infinitely more favored than Shen Tianyu. Who had ever had the audacity to dismiss her like this? Talking politely was already a courtesy!
"You already know who I am, what are you doing just standing there?! Hurry up and get that b*tch out here for me!" Shen Luo yelled at Che Shian.
His expression then became cold, as if the world had frozen over and Shen Luo shivered. However, she won't back down so she kept her angry face. "Who do you think you are to order me around?"
"So what if you're handsome and your cultivation base is high? You're just a mere guard of some brothel! I am the favored Miss of Shen family, my father is a minister and soon to be promoted to Head Minister of the Justice Department! Why can't I order around some guard?!"
'Aiya..., Lavender Palace's power is known throughout the whole country, yet, this woman would dare to be so presumptuous being the daughter of some mere Head Minister. Sigh. If he saw this, Shen Chiang must really regret ever giving birth to this woman. The ancestors must be turning in their graves.' Shen Tianyu thought. "Right. Right. You're only using your fathers name and throwing your family weight around. You yourself have no power at all." Shen Tianyu agreed as she appeared from insid the gate. Che Shian looked at He rain surprise for a moment before he cupped his hands and bowed. "Miss Feng, I apologize for letting this trouble awaken you. I will throw this quarrelsome woman out right now."
Shen Luo's face soured as she yelled. "What throw out. I still haven't stepped through your gate!"
'Ah, looks like she's learned to be shameless. I always acted submissive in the Shen Estate, so she most definitely couldn't have learned it from me.' Shen Tianyu thought.
Che Shian turned around, anger and wrath flashing in his eyes. "You-"

Shen Tianyu crossed her arms, looking down at her coldly. "Also, you are disturbing business so Lavender Palace can certainly throw you out of the Flower District right now. Not to mention, we are in charge here, this is our territory. You, some minister's daughter, has no power here."
Shen Luo's face reddened. Certainly, the Shen family's treatment of their Eldest Miss is widely known, along with he reputation so she can't say anything more. However, she wasn't willing to let this go! 'Out troubles right now are all this sl*t's fault! I won't go home until I give her a peace of her mind!' The servants behind her, though obviously uncomfortable, still haven't said anything. Their Miss was causing such an embarrassing scene, they did not want to be here for her play. However, they can't say anything to her either. They were servants of Shen Estate, ah! If they made the Miss angry, they will suffer!
"You sl*t! Causing trouble for your family, don't you have any filial piety! This is your mess, clean it up yourself!"
'Hmph. Filial piety? Why would I have any? The Shen are not my real family anyways.' "Why should I? What have you done that deserves my filial piety? I'm not a blind person.
