"Since you can accept such a condition that most men in this world will shy away from, I will recognize you as my fiancé. However, words and actions are not the same, whether I will actually marry you depends on your actions. I only half-trust your words on this, just so you know. Men tend to think with their lower self after all." She then turned around again to continue what she was doing.
Rong Jian, not minding that she didn't fully trust him at all, also went to scavenge for edibles. The two who could be considered teenagers in modern day were too happy or relieved to realize that they had completely gotten off the original topic.

When they got back to Luo Shue, who was tending to their simple camp and fire, with tree roots and edible mushrooms, there was a somewhat one-sided awkward tension between them.
Noticing this, Luo Shue asked Shen Tianyu, "Miss, did you accept Young Master Rong?" They were all the way out in the middle of a forest and looking at their faces, it was obvious what the cause was.

"Miss, we aren't bullying you, we are teasing you." Luo Shue replied. It was quite and besides, no matter how low her cultivation was, she was still a cultivator. Cultivators naturally had better senses than normal people.
"Ah? We are?" Rong Jian questioned from his side as he put his portion in the small wooden tub filled with river water.
Shen Tianyu ignored them and ordered Rong Jian. "Go catch some animal or beast. We need meat to replenish our energy."
"Don't we have these plants and edible mushrooms?" He asked in reply.
"Do you think we can get full with these?" She retorted.
Rong Jian got up from his squatting position with an "oof". "Alright, alright. What wifey says, goes. I'll be back in a little bit. In the meantime, stay safe alright?" He turned to go out fo their little camp made of a ring of rocks and a campfire. "If you do run into danger and need help, just yell 'Darling~ come save me!~' and I'll come."
Shen Tianyu picked up a nearby rock and threw it at his retreating back but deliberately missed, resulting in it whooshing past his ear. "Who needs you to help?!"
Rong Jian laughed as he ran away.
"You two are already getting along so well. I'm happy for you, Miss." Luo Shue said from her position near the fire.
"Shue'er, stop bullying me!" Shen Tianyu complained as she washed the edible plants and mushrooms.
"Like I said, I'm teasing you, not bullying."
"Either way, stop it!" Shen Tianyu made a mad expression even though Luo Shue couldn't see it as her back was facing her.
"You don't like him?" Luo Shue suddenly asked.
"That's not it." Shen Tianyu's face took on a calm expression. "It's just men aren't very good to women you know?" 'Especially in this kind of era.' she thought. "I am interested in him but I don't trust him enough to spend the rest of my life with him. I already told you guys before, I will not have a man that takes in other women aside from me and that I was prepared for the consequence of it. We've only gotten engaged now, not married. Besides, it's not exactly completely formal since it was just an agreement between the two of us without his parents' input. It'll be easy to break off if things don't work out. One must love themselves before they can love others and I love myself the most. I will not allow myself to suffer injustices."
The two women stayed quiet and seeing her Miss's conviction, Luo Shue decided that she would follow in her footsteps concerning romantic relationships. Of course, no matter what, she will always support her Miss, because Miss is the most important person to her.
