"Maybe he is interested with that Menzel girl? After all, boys start to develop interest toward the opposite gender faster than girls." James laughed. He was excited with the possibility of forming a marriage alliance with Menzel clan.

Erza came up to the stage with her smooth black hair tied. She was wearing her usual battle outfit. Iron plates were covering her chest and left shoulder, in addition to her iron gloves and boots.
However, what attracted everyone attention was the scabbard attached to her belt or to be more exact, it was the thing inside the scabbard. This was the first time for Erza to bring out a weapon.
"Is that...." Everyone was thinking about the same thing.
Standing in front of Erza, Qi Di was not wearing his usual battle armor. For this fight, he decided to dress casually with his white t-shirt and blue short pants. It seemed like he chose to sacrifice some of his defence for speed.
To begin with, Qi Di did not have any favourable impression toward Erza. In his opinion, Erza was a rude girl who acted like that due to her pride and arrogance. As the holy daughter of Valentine clan, he believed that Erza was used to be spoilt and looked up by many people. Hence, in this fight, he was planning to teach her a lesson.

Soon, the fire pillar disappeared and everyone could see a girl holding a burning sword floating in the air. She had a sharp gaze and a pair of wings made from flames on her back.
Qi Di stood at his place with a grim expression on his face. He could have jumped and attacked Erza in midair but he decided to be more careful. He casted 'Pagoda Blessing' on himself and was ready for combat anytime Erza drew near.
Erza locked on Qi Di position and then dashed toward him. She attacked him with her sword, but it was parried by Qi Di. Erza and Qi Di were quickly exchanging attack after attack.
Thanks to his buffs, Qi Di was able to keep up with Erza despite being in the lower realm. People needed to remember that Qi Di was still in the upper stage of apprentice realm, while Erza was a knight. This showed how powerful Seven Colour Pagoda clan supports.
Unfortunately, his weapon could not keep up with Erza's sword. It started to crack after being used multiple times against a divine artifact. Qi Di realized his predicament but there was nothing he could do. Unlike Erza, he did not have a divine artifact.
Qi Di tried his best to defeat Erza before his sword broke but he still failed in the end. His sword broke and he was forced to admit his defeat.
