During his time with her, Erza had indirectly expressed her wish to become an empress on multiple occasions. At first, he was very surprised. However, as time passed by, she managed to convince him that she had what were needed to become an empress.
First of all, she was strong and talented. As the youngest Knight in the history of humankind, there was no need to doubt her talent. Secondly, she came from Valentine clan, the most preeminent clan in Black Snow Empire. Thirdly and more importantly, the Empress did not have an heir yet so the race to the throne was quite open at the moment.
"Excellent idea. I have long heard how powerful and open-minded the people of Feng clan. It would be great if brother Feng Huo and the rest of you from Saint Beast Academy do not mind to share the table with us." Qi Long added eloquently. Erza was pleased by how he reacted.
Feng Huo and the rest of the students from Saint Beast Academy were taken back. No one disliked praise and politeness. The opposite party had given them face, so it was only right for them to respond in the same way. After all, Qi Long was also from a big clan. He originally did not have any reason to fear them.
Moreover, Feng Huo guessed that these youths in front him were all from Black Snow Royal Academy. Their students were no weaklings and usually had good backgrounds. Also, he had a feeling that the group in front of him was extraordinary. After all, there were people from Seven Colour Pagoda clan and Menzel clan amongst them.
"I don't see any issue. I have also heard how elegant and charismatic those from Seven Colour Pagoda clan are. It would be great to see if the rumour is true." One of the girls from Feng Huo group replied.
"What are we waiting for then? Let's go in. I am already starving." Feng Huo pushed the door and entered.
Not long after that, the foods arrived and everyone started to enjoy their dinner.
"It's really been a while since the last time I saw you, but you are still as stubborn as I could remember." Elsa smiled.
"I am not stubborn. I am just a decisive and firm person." Feng Huo argued. Everyone laughed.
"I'm Long San. It's nice to meet you all." Another boy from Feng Huo group introduced himself. Long clan was similar to Feng clan. They were a big clan which spread around the continent.
"I'm Long Qi. Pleased to meet you all."
"I'm Feng Bing..."
"Mo Fang...…."
One by one the youths started to introduce themselves. After they were done, it was Erza group turn. The beast youths were very surprised to know that Erza, Elsa, Qi Long, and Qi Di came from Valentine clan, Menzel clan, and Seven Colour Pagoda clan respectively. 3 out of BIG 4 members were present. What a lineup!
They were especially impressed by Erza friendliness. They had heard about the Flame Child of Valentine clan. As a holy daughter, they thought that she was an arrogant and spoilt child. Instead, she was the one who proposed for them to dine together.
"I have heard about you, the youngest Knight in human history. I do not expect to be able to see you so soon." Feng Bing was looking at Erza with clear admiration in her eyes.
"It was pure luck. I had a lucky encounter."
"To be able to find the lucky encounter and did not waste the opportunity proved sister Erza talent."
Everyone kept talking as they were finishing their dinners.
"What? You two are in a relationship? Lucky bastard." Feng Huo laughed as he put his arm around Qi Long shoulders.
"If by lucky, you were referring to being beaten up every now and then, I will pray for you to find someone like her in the future." Qi Di sneered.
Qi Di further explained as he saw Feng Huo was confused. When he heard how often Erza trashed them even when it was one against two, Feng Huo laughed even harder.
"Good luck!" Feng Huo gave Qi Long a thumb up. Qi Long only replied with a wry smile.
In the end, they talked until it was around 8PM at night, then everyone started to say their goodbyes. They did not forget to exchange their numbers and promised to meet up again in the future.
Erza group went back to the academy as they still had their selective classes tomorrow. On their way back, Erza asked Qi Long if he was okay after being teased by the others. Qi Long assured her that he did not mind it. Also, it was not embarrassing to lose against someone on the higher realm.
"Besides that, isn't it lonely on the top? I'm afraid that you will end up like the Empress, without a man and heirs."
"And how will it affect you?"
"Isn't it a pity to let a good and beautiful girl like you alone? I will rather be teased around by everyone than leaving you alone. I will be there when you are standing on the top of this world."
Erza was touched by his words and trust in her. She then for the first time ever held Qi Long hand on her own initiative. Qi Long was taken back by her gesture and became absent-minded. He was too excited. Of course, they talked via voice transmission.
Elsa, Mozart, Lisa and Linda noticed that their two friends were holding hands, but pretended like they did not see it.
Not long after that, Mozart moved closer to Elsa as he wanted to talk with her about something.
"Don't touch me here." Elsa suddenly blurted out in panic. Everyone was shocked and wanted to check if everything was alright with her.
"What happened?" Mozart asked innocently.
"Don't you plan to hold my hand?" Elsa asked. Mozart forehead was full of black lines. She soon found out that it was all her misunderstanding. She quickly apologized with a red face.
"What do you mean by not here? What if we are alone?" Mozart teased her via voice transmission.
Elsa face turned even redder. She was so embarrassed.
"Let's meet up tomorrow night at 9PM at the garden near the cafeteria........"
Elsa did not hear the rest of his words after that. Her mind was in a mess and her heart was beating crazily.
The youths arrived at the academy and Qi Long let go of Erza hand unwillingly.
"Okay, good night." Everyone then separated and returned to their own rooms.
The next day, everyone attended their selective classes and then had lunch together. Today, Dark Magic class had an afternoon class. It was a practical class where students sparred against each other.
As usual, Erza was paired against Mozart. They were the strongest students in the class and there was no point to pair them with the other youths.
So far, it was a tie between Erza and Mozart, 8 wins for each of them out of their 16 matches. Of course, that was because the students were not allowed to use their other abilities other than dark magics.
Overall, Erza was indeed stronger than Mozart. However, Mozart was more proficient in dark magic than her.
"Hey, shall we make a bet for this fight?" Mozart suddenly asked before they started to fight.
