"I'm not able to express myself at this moment. My friends are having a great time while I'm sitting here bewildered. We started the day with a hope of enjoying this college excursion to the fullest, It was indeed fun till late afternoon. Everything was going as per plan but suddenly ... I stumbled over that young lady hurting her badly. I must feel guilty for doing so but I have strange feelings towards her. I'm sure that I haven't met her before... in fact haven't even seen her either but my heart says I know her and what was that I wanted to do??? It's not my behavior at all. What would happen if she didn't react.... would I kiss her? Am I so brave? OMG, What if my friends had seen me kissing her? They would've teased me so much that whole campus would've no other topic for a week. Forget the after-effects.... why was she so quiet till I approached, does she know me?.....or.... Prakruth's thoughts were taking a roller coaster ride.

"Hey are you sleeping with open eyes?" asked Rahul when Prakruth missed the chips pack, he threw at him.

"Nope, Sorry..... T..Th...Thanks for this" he replied as he picked the pack from the floor of the vehicle.

"Why are you lost? Are you Ok? asked Prajwal who was sitting next to Prakruth.

"I'm fine" Prakruth nodded.

There were 25 boys and some 18 girls travelling in a college bus back to the city. It was 8 pm in the night, everyone had great fun today. Of course it would be merrier if they didn't have two professors to monitor them – most of them felt so. Summer night was cooler, Prakruth was sitting next to the window at the last row. Nothing was visible outside as it was completely dark, bus was on a village highway. Prakruth took his phone and tried to read Whats app messages, but he couldn't read even two. He shut it down and closed his eyes to rest. A pair of dazzling eyes with jet black lens, long eyelashes which had forgot to blink looking at him- appeared in his mind. "Her cheeks might be soft as lotus petals, nose was bit longer for her chiseled face and her lips are definitely made by God when he was drunk. I have seen girls all through my life, I had few good friends too but she must be an Angel who accidentally got dropped by, so she could attract me... so much. I felt that divine feel when I held her in my arms....." again Prakruth's thoughts took over him.

"Prakruth...Prakruth wake up...., we have reached" Prajwal shook him.

The bus had reached their college campus, He woke up from a deep sleep, he thought that girl came in his dreams. He gathered his stuff and got down. Parents had come to receive their peers; Prakruth walked across the road to reach his car. His driver was standing next to it, waiting for him. He waved at his friends and left.

When he reached home, it was silent as usual but today it didn't bother him much, his world had a new entry. He walked into his room hastily, left his bag on the floor and threw himself on the bed.

"I wish to see my girl in dreams...I wanted to see her again directly but we met at a tourist place, how could I even think of it??? Wait, how did she become my girl?? Strange feelings....!!!!" Prakruth was thinking as he fell asleep.

"Idiot....!!!"

"I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you, sorry again..... So... rrrryyyy... aaahhhhh"

"What happened, Prakruth?" questioned Dr.Sarala, Prakruth's mother from downstairs. He was on the floor. He had just fallen from his bed out of a dream.

"Are you OK?" she questioned again as there was no response without even climbing the stairs....

"I'm Fine mom" he answered. Neither had she bothered to ask him why he screamed. Nor he cared to explain.

It was another bright sunny morning. Summer mornings start too early. Prakruth's parents are doctors. They are busy caring for people outside but careless parents at home, they love their kid but Prakruth felt always a vacuum. According to them, they had given everything a teenager wants but Prakruth's desires for love, care and togetherness were never fulfilled.

He couldn't sleep more as his thoughts started torturing him again, so he walked down the stairs and decided to go for a swim. "Summer holidays are boring, I wonder who made the calendar so weird. In school summer holidays, I would go to granny's house at Bangalore but she expired last winter. Yesterday's excursion was last day of my 11th class, no college for 6 more weeks ahead" thought Prakruth.

"Do you want something Prakruth?" asked mom as she was fastening her watch against her left wrist without even looking at me.

"No mom" he answered in a low tone.

"Hey Champ, how was your excursion? Was the resort good?" asked Dad lifting up his stethoscope and coat from the dining chair.

"Yes Dad" he gestured by thumps up which his father didn't see.

"OK then, see you in the evening and take care" he said as he walked out of the door. His mother followed him in hurry waving at Prakruth.

He was the only son of Dr. Murthy and Dr. Sarala , the famous doctor couple of Mangalore with a multi speciality hospital at the heart of the city. They wanted him to follow their line so he can inherit the property and fame but he wanted to oppose them not because he hated them but he wanted to enjoy family and live a happy fun-filled life like some of his friends did.

Prakruth was thinking as he stared at his parents who boarded the car, "I should never become a doctor, I want to spend my weekends with my family and sometimes with friends. Like my friends back at school, or like that girl's family at the beach. They were caring for each other so much; I could even feel the young boy's love for his sister. Love, so realistic, enchanting and enlightening..... I think that was the reason behind her divine beauty. Love can make Life beautiful; can bring angels down to Earth…"

"Babu, breakfast is ready" said the cook disturbing him from his thoughts.

"I'll come in 10 minutes" he answered in a serious tone as he went to take bath.

He continued with his thoughts as he bathed. "Everything was going as per routine in this house; life so mechanical is quite boring. I had everything, all materialistic yet I lacked something. I felt like I was a robot, lifeless, having a meaningless existence. All I wish for is a home not a fully furnished villa, parents to talk to me, not over the phone just to know I'm safe. What if I lie? What if I hide what I'm upto? Whom should I share my thoughts and ideas with? My friends say you're lucky dude, parents don't question you at all for anything.... Yes they don't ask me anything.... Anything I do or anything I want.... They fulfill everything for me.... But money can't buy everything. Cook can serve me food sincerely, but he can't force me if I eat less or stop me if I eat junk more like a caring mom does. Driver can take me anywhere I want but he won't tell me whether I should be careful about it or not.... TV, Computer, Play stations, Mobile, WiFi can keep me busy for hours but they won't warn me when I'm wasting time and not studying. I won't neglect my grades anyway, I'm not that nerdy type but I like learning and remaining on top always. So I won't even get scolded for marks. I have a perfect life with few imperfections which makes me feel incomplete."

He finished his breakfast and rode in his bike to nearby sports club for swimming that was his favorite pass time in scorching summer.
