Chapter 1038: Becoming a Father
“Madam General, we’re entering the delivery suite now. There can only be one other person in the suite, would you like General or your mother to come in?” the doctor asked.
Lu Yan bent over, lifting An’an up. A nurse said, “General, please just leave Madam on the bed. We’ll push her into the delivery suite.”

Huo Yanmei knew that they loved each other so much and couldn’t bear to be apart, but Huo Yanmei was experienced with such matters. She said, “An’an, you’re having a natural birth. If Lu Yan follows you in and watches you give birth, it’s going to affect your intimacy in the future.”
Many mothers who went into natural birth faced such problems. To have a man watch them give birth, though it was touching to welcome a new life into this world, it was still bloody and somewhat gruesome looking.

An’an’s body was soaked, she lay on the bed while looking at their son. Great, they had a Little Yan now.
Little Yan’s Daddy is the General. Now Daddy could bring Little Yan everywhere to practice gunnery and archery.
An’an started having contractions again. “Madam, the other baby is coming out too. You have to continue to push.”
The second baby came out in just five minutes, the wailing sounded more tender. The doctor was surprised as he announced, “General, it’s a girl. Congratulations, General. You have a son and daughter, you’re really mighty.”
An’an lay back on the bed, totally exhausted after giving birth. Ahh it was so great, now there was a Little An’an too!

Huo Yanmei also came to look at the babies and she teared up. She had become a grandmother of two adorable angels.
They suddenly heard some footsteps along the corridor. Tang Mo’er lifted her eyes to see. When she realized who it was, she spoke, “Dad, Mom, why are you two here?”
Lu Jinwen and Lin Xuanji had come.
Lu Yan was accompanying An’an and when he saw Lu Jinwen, he quickly got up and greeted, “Uncle Jin.”
Lu Jinwen walked over. He wore a black shirt with trousers, his entire look lowkey yet enigmatic. Lu Yan hadn’t seen him in six months, but he hadn’t seemed to age even a bit. Lu Jinwen arrived beside Lu Yan, patting him on the shoulder. “Ah Yan, congratulations. You have a son and daughter, you’re a father now.”
