Clenching onto the note tightly, she went inside.
She found the two graves easily, there were side by side. The tombstone was new, she could tell that someone regularly visited the grave.
An’an was still wearing the striped hospital clothing inside, only putting over a black coat on the outside while her hair was put in a low ponytail.
She looked at the photograph on the tombstone. She first saw his father’s photograph. Blood Eagle’s father was tall and appeared really warm-hearted and kind.
Next was his mother. His mother was indeed a beauty, Lu Yan’s probably inherited his good looks from his mother. His mother was smiling in the photograph, appearing so gentle and kind.
His parents’ lives were too unfortunate.

Taking a deep breath, she lifted her eyes and looked in front.
Someone had come, it was an imposing figure. The thick soles of his boots made some rustling sounds as he stepped on the leaves. He walked over, traveling through the misty air.

Lu Yan arrived in front of the two tombstones, placing a bunch of flowers down. He was already long past the age of talking about his feelings, so he didn’t talk much but just stood there. He only started talking after a few moments.
“Dad, Mom, that girl named An’an, she’s going to become your daughter-in-law soon. I’m going to work even harder to make her pregnant. I want to be a father, I’ve been wanting to become one for a really long time.”
He told his parents, he fell in love with a girl and her name was An’an.
An’an couldn’t help but smile, tears trickling down her cheeks unconsciously. Why? Why did she have to feel sad even when she was experiencing such a wonderful moment?

Li Si arrived beside Lu Yan. “It’s Uncle and Auntie’s death anniversary today, I knew that you’d come. I heard that An’an’s almost recovered, what are your plans for the future?”
With the mention of An’an, Lu Yan’s eyes crinkled into a tender smile. “I want to take her away with me.”
“Away? Back into the mountains?” Li Si asked.
“Mm.”
