Star is busy preparing for their performance. The whole group is currently at the backstage and is busy doing their last minute preparation. They are the next group who will perform. Even though they performed so may times already, they're still get very anxious every time. After saying goodbye to the audience they exited the stage and it was time for them to perform.
They entered the stage, smiling and waving to their fans. They positioned themselves and was prepared to dance. The music started and they started their performance. They danced and sing. The crowd was cheering for them and kept chanting their names.
Axel got out of his car while holding a bouquet of buttercups, Star's favorite flower. He closed the door of his car and walked to the building where they are performing. He is slightly irritated because Mr. Ling appeared on his company and demanded to meet with him. He knew that Mr. Ling was secretly using one of his planes to export drugs to different countries. Axel uses that plane to export products from his main company to his other companies around the world. After hearing what he did, Axel fired him immediately.
He entered the studio where they are performing and his eyes searched for Star instantly. He found Star in the middle of the stage with a bright smile on her beautiful face. He was suddenly remembered of the first time he saw Star performing. His expression softened at the sight of Star and he smiled softly.
While they were performing, Star didn't noticed the smiling Axel staring at her. After a few minutes later, their performance ended. The host gave her the mic since she is the leader of the group.
"Hello everyone! We are Night Illusion! Thank you very much for coming and supporting us. We hope that we didn't dissapoint you with out performance. We love you!" Star said at the crowd. They bowed and left the stage.
"That was fun!" Lala said while smiling. She is always the most energetic out of all of them.
"I know!" Nepheria Aumber Hastelia said.
They happily walked to their dressing room. They sat at the couch and drank warm water. They were very exhausted and tired after their performance so before they leave the building they rested for a few minutes first.
Axel saw that they left the stage he followed them. While walking to the dressing room he met Cage. Cage was surprised to see him. His gaze fell down on Axel's hand where the bouquet resides.
"What are you doing here? And who is that bouquet for?" Cage curiously asks.
"Where is Star's dressing room?" Axel didn't answer Cage's question but Cage knew instantly what was going on. Cage smiled teasingly at Axel and chuckled.
"Come with me. I'll show you" Cage turned and Axek followed him quietly.
They stopped in front of a room. Cage opened the door for him and entered the room, followed by Axel who is holding a bouquet of buttercups. The girls turned their head and they were shocked to see Axel. They were even more shocked to see him holding a bouquet. They turned their head to Star who was busy playing a game and didn't noticed that the one who came was Axel. 'Why are they suddenly so quiet?' star thought.
She paused the game to see what was going on and the moment she turned her head Axel stretched out his hand to give Star the bouquet. Star smiled at the sight of the flowers. 'It's buttercups!' she thought.
"Congratulations on your successful show today, my little star" the moment Axel said those words everyone was dumbfounded. 'Did he just call her my little star?' everyone thought. 'my little star?' Star said in her head.
She put down the bouquet and turned her head to the familiar voice and there she saw Axel, who was smiling sweetly at her. 'What? What is he doing here? Why did he call me my little star?' so many questions were on Star's head.
"My little star?" she quietly asked herself. "That sounds familiar" she continued. She thought about where she heard that and she remembered about the boy who she used to play with when she was little. The little boy always called her 'my little star'. But why did Axel called her the same way? A thought entered her head but she thought it was impossible. She gazed at Axel who still smiling at her. 'What's with this sudden change in attitude?'
"Don't tell me you can't recognize me? It's only been 16 years" Axel chuckled.
Star's eyes widened as she remembers what the boy's name is. His name was Zechariah Axel Easton. All of their memories together entered her mind. She even remembered how hard she cried when he left the city.
"A-axel? I-it was you?" Star muttered. Axel smiled widely and nodded. Star stood up and jumped at him, wrapping her arms around his neck. Axel also wrapped his arms around her waist, embracing her. He gently caressed her hair as he felt her tears streaming down onto his shoulders.
"I missed you" She mumbled silently, enough for him to understand her.
"I missed you too, my little star" he answered. He moved his head away from her neck and looked at her deep raven-black eyes covered in tears. "I'm sorry for leaving you. But I did promise to come back didn't I?" He said softly and gently wiped her tears with his hand.
"I also kept my promise. I became the brightest star" Star smiled, her eyes red from crying while her arms are still wrapped around his neck.
