Since he and Lin Qiao were separated by the ice-powered zombie leader, Xie Dong had been extra careful. He was just a newborn zombie. He wasn't strong enough, so he needed to avoid both human beings and high-level zombies.
As a weak zombie, he had no other choice but to hide around. Two days ago, he encountered two level-four zombies who were fighting over territory. One of them was injured badly, but managed to escape. The winner was injured as well, so it didn't chase.
Xie Dong sneakily followed behind the injured zombie and grasped an opportunity to kill it with a surprise attack.
However, once he dug out its zombie nucleus, a group of people showed up. At the sight of the zombie nucleus, those people decided to seize it. After confirming that Xie Dong was alone, they immediately surrounded him and tried to kill him.
