The next day I came in late for the very first time. Through my years of working in the company not once did I arrive late, nor did I arrive with a hangover. Quite unusual but I drank myself to sleep last night, 2 scotch whisky bottles were laid on the floor messily right when I woke up.
I can't seem to get her out of my system, it's like she doesn't get tired with running in circles inside my head. It's even weirder that I remember her when I drink water or hold a fork. Events came in flashbacks, but everything feels like going back at that moment again.
"Young master?" My secretary went in, I didn't even notice him entering through the door.
"Yes?" It feels like answering in the most stupid way, my mind seems to be somewhere else. I'm loosing focus.
"Young master the board meeting is about to start, your presence is highly needed there. Shall we proceed?" My secretary looks puzzled, heck I'm even more puzzled than him, I don't know what's wrong with me.
I nodded in reply and start to leave.

The gentlemen rose from their respective seats as they pay respect to my arrival. I sat down and they did the same.
"Let's start"
Each management representatives started with their reports as well as the new proposals. I don't know but for the first time, I feel so bored just by listening to their monotonous speeches.
"CEO, Mr. Yuan, what can you say about this?"
My assistant ushered me to give a comment, but even if I wrack my brain, no idea came out.
"Just continue..." Before I could even finish what I'm saying, my phone suddenly rings. I look at the name of the dialer.
That's when a creepy smile erupted from my face. @@
