Adone woke up in the middle of the night by the sound that he was waiting to hear.

"Transmit the data into my brain" he commanded excitedly.

Adone felt a mild pain in his head due to the sheer volume of knowledge being transmitted to his brain.
He was aware of the titbits of the knowledge like the name of the world was Agartha and this world had many legendary species like Elves, Dwarfs, Demons, and Dragons.
He also came to know that his mother was an Elf (whom he first thought had modified her body) and his father had Dragon bloodline and that was all the reliable knowledge he gained other than the reports about other nations that royal clan collected. Though he 'read' all the books in the library, he didn't really read them he just flipped through them so that Bionic chip can obtain all the data as it was more efficient than reading them.
After some time, the pain faded and all the data was dumped into his brain which made him understand many things about the world in a short time. He now knew about the geography, biodiversity, and history of the world.
This world, Agartha was more than double the size of Jupiter with a surface area of about 300 Earths with five times the gravity of Earth. Even the smallest continent, Redash continent is more than 15 times larger than Earth.
The inhabitants of this world used their Beast Spirit to cultivate by absorbing the essence of the World. This essence can also be absorbed without Beast Spirit but its slow and without a cultivation technique it will result in death.
This essence is the building block of the world. Essence is divided into Elemental Essence of Air, Water, Earth and Fire, Special essence of Light and Darkness, Judgmental essence of Lightning, Elusive essence of Life and Death and their derivatives Wood (Life), Ice (Water), Metal (Earth).
People can absorb all of these essences as all living creatures have a natural affinity with all essences to a varying degree. These are classified as low (more than 10% affinity), upper low (more than 30% affinity), mid (more than 50% affinity), high (more than 60% affinity), upper high (more than 80% affinity), perfect (more than 90% affinity).
But people usually absorb one or few that they have highest natural affinity for, as higher affinity means faster cultivation.
Bloodlines also affected the affinity of a person and if a person could acquire a bloodline he could increase his/her affinity in accordance with that particular bloodline.
Adone was unable to calm himself down and asked "Show me my affinity to various essences"

Her facial expression gave Adone a dangerous premonition.
"Sister, I just liked to read books in the library and that all. I was very interested in the books so I went to the Royal library daily. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings and if I hurt your feelings please forgive me"
Her teary eyes shined as her face bloomed with a cheery smile. "Okay, I will forgive you but you must play with me and go shopping with me"
"Okay," Adone relented.
"Come let's have breakfast, we will go shopping after that"
He followed Tephanie to the kitchen where she made the breakfast for Adone and herself.
"It's not as good as the mother but my cooking is not bad either"
She placed some sandwiches in front of Adone and placed one on her plate and started to eat. Adone first smelled the sandwiches which really smelled good.

He took a bite and it really tasted good.

"The carriage is ready for your trip, your highness" an old woman replied, her hair was all white and her face was filled with wrinkles but she seemed very energetic in contrast to her appearance. She was seating on the driver's seat of the coach.
"Let's go, Adone. She is Grandma Linda. She is a really good person, she used to tell me stories when I was younger"

They both got into the carriage and the entourage started to move.
After some time they stopped in front of a building named 'Thousand Gold Auction House'. The building had two floors and looked luxurious for outside.
"This Thousand Gold Auction House is part of Kaiya Merchant Union and today is the auction that they hold annually. So it should have some interesting stuff" Grandma Linda introduced.
Just as Adone jumped off of the carriage, a fat middle aged man ran out of the auction house.
"Please forgive for my late hospitality, your highness" he bowed to him and his sister and Then continued "I have already reserved the whole second floor for your highness. If you can forgive your humble servant then please consider taking part in the auction"
Tephanie who had already placed a veil on her face before getting out of the carriage just nodded and started walking towards the building and Adone followed behind her.
