“Exactly,” Zhao Yao said, “I don’t understand that either. I hate using violence the most. King of Death, you better not pick a fight with me. I will just run away.”

He forced his eyes open to look at his current situation. He saw two people in front of him. It was Zhao Yao’s cleaners, Matsuo (ex-CEO of the money-lending platform) and Faceless (ex-gang leader of the Mao Gang).
Faceless scoffed as he said to Old K, “Hey newcomer, think carefully about what happened. It should be etched in your mind.” He was obviously gloating.
Although he resented Zhao Yao for wiping out the Mao gang, now that he was on Zhao Yao’s side, he felt joy in gloating over the misfortune of others falling at Zhao Yao’s hands.
Old K’s eyes flashed as he recalled what had happened.
“That guy Zhao Yao knocked me out in the end. What about Lang Gou and Midnight?” He raised his head to look at his surroundings and realized that Lang Gou and Midnight were there as well, lying unconscious on the floor.
“Have we all lost? Even Midnight…” Old K could not help but recall every scene of the previous battle.
