“Matcha!”
After a burst of shrill scream and a series of snarls, there were sounds of the furniture being flipped over and Zhao Yao shouting.
After separating the cats, Zhao Yao persuaded, “Elizabeth, calm down. I cherish the sincerity of your gift. Will you forgive Matcha?”
Elizabeth glared at Matcha and looked at Zhao Yao. “Zhao Yao! You are too biased towards Matcha. No matter what kind of trouble he gets into, you help him take care of it. Previously, he was removed from his position as the leader of the Royal Cat guards but you still named him as the leader for the construction site. You are always so biased that’s why he has nothing to fear.”
On the other hand, Matcha held onto his injured nose and said, “Stay jealous fat woman. I am just so lovable. I entered Zhao Yao’s house one year earlier than you. Is this how you speak to your senior?”
Zhao Yao smacked Matcha on his head and said, “Shut up.”
Zhao Yao turned to look at Elizabeth. After looking at the golden exclamation mark on top of Elizabeth’s head he asked, “So Elizabeth, under what circumstances will you forgive Matcha?”
Elizabeth pointed to the cake and said, “I stayed up for so many nights to complete this seafood cake! Matcha has to be punished!”
As Zhao Yao was comforting Elizabeth, he stroked her and said, “Okay, okay. So how do you want him to be punished?”
Meanwhile, Matcha seized the chance when Zhao Yao was looking at Elizabeth to spit out his tongue and roll his eyes at Elizabeth.
“This idiot!” Elizabeth’s eyes narrowed. After thinking, she suggested, “Throw him out for a week. Let him understand how blessed he is right now. Let him experience how hard life gets for strays.”
Roly Poly who was still following Zhao Yao around everywhere nodded his head and agreed, “Elizabeth and I both know how hard life can get. That’s why we are so mature. Matcha was raised in a sheltered environment since he was young. He takes everything for granted that’s why he is so immature.”
Roly Poly started to list the number of times Matcha screwed up. “Every time something is handed to him, he fails. Like the last task at the prison, he couldn’t complete it. He wasn’t of much use during the Ürümqi fight either. In the supercat armor, he is the least useful one. He was a bad influence when he was the leader of the Royal Cat police force. He only knows how to play Mobile Legends and use credit cards secretly.
Furthermore, at the construction site, every cat was supposed to get one death exemption ticket but he made three cats share one ticket and kept the rest for himself…”
Elizabeth was annoyed. “Look! You favor him too much Zhao Yao!”
Mission: Educate
Mission Objective: Matcha has been getting out of hand. This has caused great dissatisfaction among the other supercats. To educate Matcha to be more mature, let him experience one week of being a stray.
Reward: 500 experience points

After hearing what Roly Poly and Elizabeth said, Matcha quickly nuzzled up to Zhao Yao. “Humph! You guys are terrible. Zhao Yao would never abandon such a cute kitty like me. Right, Zhao Yao?”
Half an hour later, the door at the bottom of the building was opened and Matcha, who was carrying a small yellow bag, was thrown out.
When the door was about to be closed, Matcha dashed between the gate to stop it from closing and plead, “Zhao Yao! Zhao Yao! I am your favorite little Matcha. You’re just going to throw me out like that? Aren’t you afraid that something will happen to me?”
“You are no longer little Matcha but fat Matcha. It is about time for you to go out, experience the world, and burn some fat. It is time to grow up.” As he spoke, Zhao Yao pushed Matcha out and slammed the door.
Matcha squatted outside the door and grunted, “Humph, he will let me in soon.”
After waiting for a while, Matcha was bored. He opened his bag and saw that there were three packets of cat snacks and a phone. “Haha, I can play Mobile Legends. After this Zhao Yao will probably come and get me.”
Three hours later, all the cat snacks were finished and the phone was low on battery. Matcha looked at the gate, astonished. “Is Zhao Yao asleep? Why isn’t he here to get me yet?”
Then something rustled in the bushes and Matcha jumped. “Who is it?”
Yellow Mud (Zhao Yao district’s wild supercat) stuck his neck out, sniffing about in the air. When he saw Matcha, his eyes lit up. “Matcha? What are you doing downstairs?”
“Oh, it’s you Yellow Mud.” Matcha heaved a sigh of relief. His ears stood up again as he replied, “I am here for a walk. I haven’t been seeing you around lately. Where have you been?”
Yellow Mud sniffed at the three packets of snacks. Once he saw that the snacks had been eaten, he looked disappointed.
When he heard Matcha’s question, he answered, “Recently, this district’s security has been chasing stray cats away. Furthermore, this entire building is almost empty. The granny that used to feed me had moved away too. So I haven’t been coming.
We shall talk next time. I haven’t had dinner. I need to go.”
“Okay.” When he saw Yellow Mud leaving, Matcha thought, “Humph, you made me wait for so long. I shall let you panic and wait for me.”
“Yellow Mud.” Matcha chased after him and said, “Let’s go together. I will join you today.”
Yellow Mud looked at him curiously. “Huh? Don’t you need to go home?”
Matcha answered angrily, “I am not going back tonight. I am going to play all night!”
As the two cats left, Zhao Yao slowly came out from the side of the door. It was beside where Matcha had been squatting. Zhao Yao was worried for Matcha and had stood at the side for three hours.
After rubbing Roly Poly’s head, Zhao Yao sighed. “This guy has never been a stray cat. I feel so apprehensive about this. Let’s just follow him for a while.” He followed Matcha and hid himself with Roly Poly’s invisibility and Elizabeth’s illusion so that Matcha wouldn’t notice him.
Yellow Mud brought Matcha to the dustbin. Matcha pinched his nose and his face filled with disgust. “Yellow Mud, why did you come to the dustbin? There is only garbage inside.”
Yellow Mud leaped into the dustbin and scrambled through the garbage. “That is not true. Although there are many useless things inside, sometimes, there is leftover food. Bingo!”
Yellow Mud dragged a fish head out and threw it on the floor. “Today is a lucky day. It is such a huge fish head!” He looked at Matcha and said, “Matcha, you can eat first. This is my treat.”
“Erm.” Matcha looked at the dirty fish head and looked at Yellow Mud’s hungry face. He shook his paws and said, “It’s okay. I have eaten a lot of food just now. I am still full. You can eat first.”
“Okay, then I shall start!” Yellow Mud started munching on the fish head happily. Halfway through eating, someone came over and chased them away. “Go away! Stupid stray cats, you messed up the dustbin again.”
“This guy!” Matcha looked at the angry man and was about to attack. Yellow Mud who was at the side pulled him away and hid in the grass.
Matcha was mad. “Why did you pull me away? I could have taught him a lesson.”
Yellow Mud shook his head and said, “It is our fault for messing up the dustbin. It’s okay. He will leave in a while.”
After the guy was gone, Yellow Mud jumped out, took the fish had and ran back.”Matcha, let’s go.”
