Cold sweats formed on the waiter's back as he moved closer to the power couple. He nervously placed the refreshments in front of them and respectfully asked if there is anything else he can help them with but deep inside he was actually praying and hoping not to stay longer. He doesn't want to be among the casualties if ever these two masters stir up a storm again.
I can see that the waiter is nervously standing by our table like a suspect waiting for the judge's verdict. With a smile on my face I said "That would be all, than you."
The waiter got starstruck because of that smile. He can't believe that he will be able to meet such a goddess ever in his life. He was too nervous earlier that he was not able to register in his mind how attractive the young miss he is serving. He is now wondering why she wanted him to look for a beautiful girl downstairs when she is actually the most beautiful girl in the whole establishment today. Still not wanting to get involved in their love quarrel, he respectfully bowed his head and excused himself.
I sipped on my tea, I felt better after a sip. With a relax mind, I stared at the devil in front of me and asked "Neo..." I called his attention.
He looked at me. I continued "Do you know what reputation I have inside the campus?"
"En." He nodded slightly before taking a sip of his coffee.
"Then you do know that this proposition of yours will only make things complicated and troublesome?" I said to him.
"Yes." he said.
He actually said Yes??!! He agreed that this is troublesome and will make things complicated but he still wants to force me into 'fake' dating him??!
I seriously stared at those black orbs of his. "Tell me why the very popular young master off the Yuan family is looking for a fake girlfriend?" I said not looking away.
"Revenge... Amusement... Inheritance..." he said to me. He gave emphasis to each word he said.
"Revenge? Is it because of that girl? Who is she?" I asked.
"She's my fiance." he said. His voice colder than ever.
