Kyle told me that Elrae is in the cafe in front of the school. I was actually skeptical as to why she was in there. This morning she suddenly expressed her interest to the young master of the Yuan family and now she is in his territory.
Almost everyone in school knows that Neo and his gang usually hang out in that cafe, so why would Elrae go there? She usually stay late inside her classroom to finish her school assignments, except if we have dinner plans, she usually go straight home afterwards.
Kyle also told me that Elrae is currently on the 2nd floor of that cafe, which proves that she really went there to meet Neo. I unconsciously tightened my grip on the steering wheel as I sped off towards my brother's hospital.
I already called him earlier, I need his help in obtaining the invitations for the charity ball hosted by the Yuan family. My brother is a renowned doctor. He specializes in everything, I really mean everything. He is an all-in-one doctor. I sometimes can't believe that my brother is a genius in his own field since he really doesn't act like one. Even though I was also labeled as a genius since I was still a small child, my way of coping up to others is different from the way my brother handle things.
My brother is an outright eccentric. He travels around the world not because he wants to help cure various diseases but because he wants to collect different types of arts, a phoenix to be exact. From hair pins to clothes up to statues, he have it all.
Of course as a doctor, he still needs to do his job so he cure diseases as he likes, he cures people not based on their wealth. He helps various types of people, rich or poor, black or white, criminal or not.
I respect him for that, he is free as a bird but can still handle things perfectly in the business world. Our parents already know that they can't tie down their eldest son, since he only wants to do what he likes and they can't do anything to stop him so they ended up training me to handle the family business.
I also don't want to be tied down, but no matter where I go my heart would always stay with Elrae. I really want to spend more time with her, if only I could spend the rest of my life with her. If only I could.
I saw my brother's assistant standing beside the road in front of the hospital. I stopped the car in front of him and rolled down the glass window by the passenger's side. I told him to leave the invitations in the passenger's seat and to tell my brother that I will give him the 'the phoenix'. The assistant said that he understand and bowed down as I sped out towards the cafe.
When I arrived, there were already quite a number of girls gathered on the first floor. Of course I can't pass through unnoticed so I strode inside the premises with my signature smile on my face. As expected many stared in awe as I walked towards them. I warmly greeted a few familiar faces, I asked them if there is some kind of an event for quite a number of crowd to gather in a place like this.
They shyly answered me saying that they are waiting for a witch to come down the stairs. I wanted to raise an eyebrow but refrained myself from doing so. I only smiled warmly at them as I said my thanks, I slowly walked towards the stairs heading up to the second floor when my path was suddenly blocked by a girl named Irene. She is pretty but no one can replace Elrae as my muse.
The girl in front of me said that Elrae is cheating on me and is now seeing another guy. She wants me to be angry and to not see Elrae anymore. I chuckled when I heard her words. They said she cheated on me, are they implying that Elrae and I are a couple?
The girls around me blushed when they saw me chuckle. Oh, right I forgot how godly I look like when I laugh like this. I warmly told everyone that they misunderstood everything. I told them that I was supposed to come here with Elrae to meet with Neo but something came up with the student council so I came a bit late. I told them that Neo and Elrae are still waiting for me upstairs. I told them that if they don't believe what I said then they can ask Neo themselves.
I didn't bother with them anymore, I elegantly walked up the stairs. I was thinking of various reasons as to why Elrae would come to a place like this, but what I saw when I arrived on the second floor is definitely not what I expected.
Two figures are intimately close to each other. I can see Elrae's back facing me. She is awkwardly standing in only one leg while her other leg is raised in a provocative way close to Neo.
My calm demeanor completely shattered when I saw their heads were positioned like they were kissing each other. I gritted my teeth, clenched my hands and coldly said "What are you doing?"
