Maria heard him through the intercom.
She felt her heart beat fast!
Its been 2 weeks since they had their lunch together. She kept on avoiding him, if she had the chance.
If Tobias would asked her to do things that has to he with him, she will immediately find an excuse. Just to be away from him.
She even skipped work for 2 days after that.
If Tobias didn't called her personally and warned her, she wouldn't report back to work.
But today was different, Tobias called her inside his office. She composed herself and controlled her hyperventilating heart!
Maria knocked three times and age heard him said
"come in"
She pushed the door open and went inside.
Maria felt someone pushed her hard towards the closed door and pinned her there. She saw Tobias looking at her intently, with lust in his eyes.
He leaned down and kissed her hard!
Tobias reached for her left breast and squeezed it gently.
"I missed you badly."
he said in a husky voice. As if he's craving for her.
"miss Ho!"
Maria snapped back to reality when she heard Tobias calling her.
Shucks! Did age actually imagined that?!
Is it because she's nervous to see him in his office alone, that's why she thought of that hilarious things?!
Her face blushed.
"miss Ho, are you okay?"
Tobias asked her again.
"ahm, yes Sir. I'm sorry for spacing out. Work."
she explained trying to kept calm.
She realized that she was still rooted on her spot! The door was behind her! She walked slowly towards the chair.
"please sit down."
Tobias offered her which she obeyed.
"what can I do for you sir? why did you called me here?"
she asked , trying to change the topic.
Tobias watched her actions like he was looking at a specimen in a microscope. She moved her head downward.
"alright, I'll go straight to the point. Were you avoiding me?"
"of course not! "
she denied immediately , still not looking at him.
"look at me in the eyes and do tell."
he demanded
Of course she can't do that!
She remained her mouth shut.
"see? so you're really avoiding me. Why is that?"
"just forget about it Sir."
she tried to persuade him
"no, we can't be like this forever. We can't work together if you're like that!"

"you started acting weird since our last lunch, I wonder why?"
he asked again.
"just tell me, maybe I could help?"
he offered
"no you can't!"
she speak hastily.

She stomped her foot in frustration. She knew that he won't let her go if she would not tell him!
She really hates Tobias for being an *ss!

"would you shut your mouth and let me do the talking?!"

He decided to changed the topic to save her from further humiliation.
"what's my schedule for today?" he speak, clearing his throat.
Maria looked up and get her notepad hastily. She silently thanked that Tobias didn't pursue their topic earlier.
"you have a board meeting this morning sir, 10 o'clock. You also have a lunch meeting with a client." she informed her and closed her note pad.
"okay, thanks. Be ready, you're going with me."
Maria tried to asked him but he cut her off.
"you're coming with me at the board room to take notes. No more questions, just be ready I'll pick you at your table."
he said leaving no room for her to opposed.
It was her first time to attend a meeting with him. He never asked her before, or, he never had the chance because he knew that she's avoiding him.
"okay sir, I'll take my leave now."
she bid and went towards the door.
"miss Ho? don't think too much."
