"I had not asked you to vow. That was your own choice." Long Kael pointed out unhappily. "And how many times have I reminded you to not vow so casually? That will cause your life eventually." He added reprimanded.

Long Cheng tried to grin for the sake of lightening the mood, "You are fair king! You will not take advantage of the weak, I know that" He trusted his uncle and knew that all actions and intention was for the greater good. Since he was also vowing for Lu Meili to be free, then he would not regret it.

However, Long Kael would have never thought that he would disregard Long Cheng's trust in him in the near future when all his rational thoughts were thrown away.

Long Kael shook his head. He then released a heavy breath, before speaking, "Do you know what are the grey areas of all of our rules and laws?" Long Kael asked curiously. He was also tapping the book that he was holding with his fingers. The part that stated 'offspring' specifically was under his fingers. Long Cheng was not able to see this so he had no idea or any clue at all.

'Dragon's mate' is a book and a complete guide for anyone, especially for outsiders. It was revised multiple times make it understandable in a simple context. If Lu Meili would have seen the book, her eyes would have surely brightened, as the things that Lulu could not answer were in the book.

If she also managed to read it, then she would know that Long Cheng was lying regarding the dragon's heat cycle, for fertility.

Long Cheng frowned, he seemed like thinking. But It did not take long for him to give up though, "Arg! Just tell it to me, uncle!"

Instead of answering, Long Kael looked at his nephew with interest. He then stepped closer to him and showed him the part of the book that he was reading.

After seeing that, Long Cheng shouted, "Ah! That's right! Thank you, uncle!" He said happily before leaving the study not even allowing his uncle to explain further.

Long Kael shook his head, "Does he even know that he is not allowed inside the prison? How can he make his mate pregnant if that is the case?" He murmured softly, still looking at the page containing information about the pregnant dragon mates. "Should I visit his mate too?"

'Should I consider this too, so she won't leave?' He eventually thought to himself before placing the book back on the shelf and leaving the room, unsure of where he would go next.

In the royal palace underground prison…

Lu Meili was not sure how many hours have passed since she arrived in the palace prison.

It was still bright outside since the Shou Planet had two suns and four moons. The day time was longer and almost no night time despite the number of moons that it had.

In all honesty, Lu Meili could also not confirm how long it had been for her staying at the Dragon country without Lulu.

Was it a day? Or was it two of running using the human's time calculation? Lu Meili could not confirm anything.

A lot seemed to have happened in such a short time, and none of her goals were met yet. Aside from that, someone ended up getting involved in her issues, making everything more complicated for her.

Lu Meili was not sure where Mo Rin was. The dragon king had a bad reputation and Lu Meili would not let Mo Rin stay in the palace longer.

However, while she could not save Mo Rin, all she could do was wait for one of her martial sisters to take action as soon as possible after receiving her message.

'I should have considered using the service of a sperm bank instead…' Lu Meili thought to herself. However, once she managed to free herself, there was no guarantee that she would choose that route since Long Cheng existed.

The prison was mostly dark and dirty which was normal for a place like this. The light coming from the outside was enough for anyone to see how dirty it was. There were other prisoners as well, but Lu Meili had not bothered giving them a glance when she was escorted in.

Lu Meili was staying in a caged metal box which contained a hidden door, instead of a normal cage. It was small and thankfully she was alone in it.

It was not always the case in the entire prison. There were cells as well with different auras and could be used depending on the being's capability that would be imprisoned on it.

Her cell was specifically for mages. There were magical encryptions written on the walls that she was familiar with.

Though the magical energies were still present within it which she appreciated, if she tried to make any spell even a tiny one, there was a sensor that could detect spells and magic, and would immediately alarm the guards.

Lu Meili was familiar with the mechanism of her cage. Even though the door was hidden if someone wanted to check on her the metal door could be turned into a transparent layer.

'I thought the dragon country is ancient and don't have money?' Lu Meili asked herself. It was amusing to see a race that held on to their tradition,  by not improving its citizen's life but chose to purchase something expensive for their prisoners.

If it was on her, it would be best to just throw the prisoner in space without any life support and watch the criminal die slowly because of a lack of oxygen. 'I should recommend that later…' Lu Meili considered while also thinking to apply the death method on the cruise ship.

*Toot! Toot!* It was the sound of the cage mechanism working.

"Is she really the Prince Long's mate? She looks so dirty and uncivilized. " Lu Meili heard someone speaking voice laced with disgust.
