Some distance away from the entrance into the house was a wide table and a chair of sturdy brown wood of the highest quality, on it sat Zhang Tianyu drinking from delicate white porcelain cup with a kettle from the same set holding in them tea from the finest tea leaf.
When he saw that a car pull up on the unpaved ground, some feet away from where he sat, that was when the President of Zhang Corporation set down the tea cup in his hand, watching as the approaching figures made their way to where he sat. The mysterious man carried the still unconscious form of Yang Lin over his shoulders.
Inside the spacious compound were several men from the security team personally under the command of Zhang Tianyu, they watched as the other man dropped Yang Lin on the ground before the presence of the President of Zhang Corporation.
Zhang Tianyu had on an unruffled expression when he saw how his adopted son was handle in a slightly careless manner, his sharp gaze watched to see if Yang Lin was regaining consciousness, but the young man remained unresponsive.
A slight look and a brief movement of hand was what Zhang Tianyu used to dismiss the other man, who curtesied before driving out the the same way he got in.
Without leaving where he sat, Zhang Tianyu ordered the men with him to bring in some water and drown the contents on Yang Lin. Half of the men that stood there, rushed to do as asked, leaving the rest to keep an eye on Yang Lin in the event he woke up and wanted to escape from where he was held captive.
Not that that many of them was needed to run such an errand, but they did it to show that they were taking the orders of the President of Zhang Corporation seriously.
A medium sized red bucket containing water almost to the brim was brought in by one of the men, with the rest following in tow. Lifting the bucket from the bottom, the man raised it up high, dowsing the cold water on Yang Lin.
Instantly, the young man convulsed from the shock from the impact of being sprayed by the sudden coldness. Shivering and looking disoriented, Yang Lin's gaze roamed around until it landed at the all too familiar face of the man who was a father to him. That didn't end there as his conscious state was met by several blows from the men who under the guise of serving as the personal body guards of Zhang Tianyu were in actual fact tugs that he used whenever he felt the need to deal with situations such as the one that presented itself right at the moment.
It took some time, but Yang Lin knew why he was being apprehended by Zhang Tianyu, to the other man, he Yang Lin had betrayed his trust by gathering other people to help win the case of the former's niece.
"I don't need to spell it out for you! Why I chose to bring you here in this manner, I'm sure you are well aware that your movements have always been monitored. With the way that I took you in and treated you as my own child! Why then are you trying to bring back Mi?!"
