With Caesar at their front, the knights quickly escaped the enemy formation and continued to ride their horses until they were about 50 meters away from the enemy.

Caesar pulled the reigns of his horse and turned back around facing the enemy again, the knights also halted their horses and stood shoulder to shoulder with Caesar.

The enemy formation was in disarray and the elves began to counterattack, fear gleamed in all of the eyes of the enemy humans as they looked at the cavalry unit that Caesar commanded.

*gasp*

The knight's by Caesar's side were all gasping for breath, blood dyed their armors and their horses. The captain located on Caesar's right sight pulled his horse closer to Caesar and whispered in his ear respectively: "Marshall, we have seemed to have lost only 10 of our soldiers"

Caesar frowned, "that is 10 too many," he said in a slow tone.

The captain didn't reply and pulled his horse back. Caesar observed the continuing battle, no enemy soldiers dared to confront Caesar and his cavalry so they just kept a watchful eye on them.

Caesar suddenly shifted his attention to the elven army and roared "ELVES, I HAVE PREPOSITION FOR YOU"

The roar was heard by everyone currently on the battlefield, the elves perked up their long ears and glimpsed at Caesar with a wary look.

No reply was given to Caesar for about 10 seconds, however, he smirked anyway "they will surely come to me on their own soon" Caesar thought to himself as he continued to wait on the sidelines.

Although the human's foundation was disrupted they soon got hold of themselves again, they started to once again push the elves back… both forces were without a competent leader, resulting in them both just mindlessly fighting each other.

Caesar and his men waited for a solid 5 minutes until finally, a feminine voice called out with reluctance… "what is your proposition, human?"

It sounded like a whisper in Caesar's ear, he peered at the elven army trying to pinpoint who was talking to him, soon he caught sight of a mature elf with long golden hair and a large bust looking straight at him.

"It seems as though elves are quite skilled in making their voices travel a far distance haha" Caesar chuckled softly while studying the elf woman.

Seeing that the elf woman didn't have any reaction he confirmed his guess, they can only make their own voice travel further but they are unable to hear someone else's voice from a far distance.

"Ahem" Caesar cleared his throat.

"I WILL MAKE YOU ELVES WIN THIS BATTLE, SHELTER YOU, FEED YOU, AND PREPARE A FUNERAL FOR YOUR LOST ONES ON ONE CONDITION"

Silence encompassed the battlefield, it felt as though time stopped before that same feminine voice invaded Caesar's ears again, "what is your condition?" she asked curiously

Caesar straightened his back and looked straight the elven army and roared in an extremely domineering tone "OBEDIENCE AND LOYALTY!"

The knights at the side of Caesar inhaled a breath of cold air as they looked at Caesar with fear in their eyes… "he is giving them only two options, death or subordination" the knights all thought to themselves while goosebumps covered their bodies.

All of the elves furrowed their brows in frustration as the battle continued, they lost more and more ground. Only death waited for all of them if this went on.

"Our late princess hated you dearly, I'm afraid following you would incur the wrath of our ancestors" A hesitant feminine voice entered Caesar's ears.

"YOUR PRINCESS WAS A GREAT WOMAN, SHE WOULD NOT HAVE WANTED YOU ALL TO DIE IN VAIN… FOLLOW ME AND WE WILL GET REVENGE ON THE ONES THAT KILLED YOUR PRINCESS TOGETHER!"

Caesar paused for a second and delivered the final blow

I DO NOT TREAT MY SUBORDINATES BADLY, I CONSIDER ALL OF MY SOLDIERS MY FAMILY"

Caesar could see the elves hesitant look as they truly debated his offer, Caesar knew the elves were prideful and would treat their promises seriously.

Caesar could see some of the elves whisper amongst themselves for a while before they looked at Caesar with determination in their eyes.

That same feminine voice entered into his ears once again "we agree with your condition however you must treat us fairly and help regrow the northern forest one day, that was our princesses last wish"

A wide smile soon appeared on Caesar's face as he roared "I ACCEPT"

"Haha" muffled laughter escaped from Caesar's mouth making all of the knights around him shiver… "remember this lesson my knights, the best kind of victory is one that you didn't even need to fight for"

The knights all nodded in comprehension, Caesar pulled the reins of his horse making it step forward once… he turned his head to face his knights and a smile blossomed on his face.

"You are all the most courageous of my knights, follow behind me one last time in this war. I will personally see to it that every knight that falls and stands with me in this battle will be remembered in history FOREVER!"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH" the knights roared louder than ever before making the enemy soldiers tremble.

Caesar also roared as he pulled the reigns of his horse and charged forward, he raised his right arm above his shoulder and yelled "tonight, we dine in hell!"

The knights all rushed forward behind Caesar, their faces full of resolve and eyes filled with killing intent.

The enemy soldiers looked at the imminent cavalry headed straight for them with dread, they sweated profusely as they prayed to their gods.

*BANG*

Caesar and the knights collided with the enemies once again, similar to a bulldozer they passed through the enemy.

The enemy soldiers focused most of their attacks on Caesar, five spearmen shoved their spears towards Caesar.

Caesar scoffed with disdain as he swiftly jabbed one of them in the neck and then shifted his horse slightly the right to dodge the others, Caesar lifted his spear and swung down at the other four. They tried to block but Caesar's spear broke their weapons and beheaded them.

*splurt*

Blood splashed on Caesar's face as he headed for his next target, Caesar soon spotted an enemy captain sitting on a horse a few meters away. Caesar lifted his spear and threw it like a javelin at the captain.

*WHISH*

The spear traveled at an amazing speed and penetrated the enemy captains skull, Caesar withdrew two swords from his waist and continued his murder spree… Both swords looked similar to scimitar's, they had a distinctive edge and a red handle.

The enemy soldiers just could not stop Caesar's onslaught, their front lines soon crumbled and the elves started pushing forward.

Caesar swung both of his swords as fast as he could, mirror images were being created from the sheer speed. Enemy heads were being plopped off left and right.

Caesar could feel his knights begin to tire so Caesar went faster and faster… For every knight that slowed down, Caesar would make up for it by himself.

"RISE ABOVE!" Caesar roared while slashing down with his swords.

The knight's that were beginning to give up soon felt a fire reignite in their chest with Caesar's roar, they thought about their families waiting for them in their kingdom, their friends, their lovers.

"AHHHHHH" They all roared and managed to pass their limits, they went faster and faster. The mana they had gained from the beast cores they ate burned inside them as they roared… They could feel their blood burning but they grit their teeth and continued to fight.

10 minutes….

20 minutes….

30 minutes...

Caesar and his knights were an unstoppable force as an ocean blood of fell in their wake, the enemy soldiers screamed in fear and retreated… The elves roared in delight.

"DO NOT LET THEM RETREAT"

Caesar roared mercilessly as he led his cavalry to finish up the retreating soldiers. Soon tens of thousands of bodies were scattered on the ground. The knights were covered in blood, their horses were dyed red.

They all gasped for breath while sitting on their horses, they still held their weapons tightly as if they were looking for another enemy to kill.

Caesar at the forefront of the knights observed all of this calmly, he could hear the knights and civilians on the kingdom walls cheering loudly.

*step*

*step*

Caesar turned his horse around and studied the the army of elves that walked in front of him, they looked at him respectively.

"We elves honor our promises," they said as they kneeled down in front of Caesar… This moment would be remembered in history as the first time elves kneeled before humans.

Caesar looked down at them and said "stand up, I do not require you to kneel before me"

The elves naturally stood up following his words, Caesar rode his horse back in the direction towards the kingdom.

"Come, we have a lot of greetings we must perform," Caesar said quietly as the knights and elves followed behind him quietly.

The victory was grand, however, no one could shout in joy looking at the many bodies littered across the ground.
