Caesar bent down and entered through the small passageway, the doors in the dwarven kingdom were relative to the dwarven height.

Right as Caesar walked inside, he was nearly dazzled by the number of shiny armors and weapons… Caesar observed the room carefully.

The room was quite large, racks of weapons and armors were trailing the walls and in the middle of the room was a pile of random accessories such as necklaces, vases, coin, and other necessities.

Ahri walked in not much later than Caesar, she had an expression full of astonishment as she gazed at the many treasures inside.

Joe was slightly disappointed at Caesar's relatively calm reaction, but he smiled proudly once he saw Ahri's shocked face.

"This isn't even the main treasury of this mountain, this was merely a storage room for the treasures that didn't fit in the other one… the main treasury was wiped clean though" Joe boasted with an expression that said: 'Praise me'

Caesar smiled wryly and walked through the treasury room, he glanced at Joe suspiciously… "the dwarves must have put an exceptional amount of importance on your head for them to show you where their treasury rooms were" Caesar spoke with absolute certainty.

Caesar paused for a second while closely examining an elegant looking vase.

"However, you stayed in that small prison in Rahvin kingdom for years… don't tell me the dwarves never tried looking for you, or perhaps, you were deliberately hiding?" Caesar asked in a strange tone.

Joe's lips twitched and he scratched the back of his head, "y-yeah… they kicked me out of this kingdom because they thought my lineage was too dangerous" Joe said sadly.

Caesar squinted his eyes and gently placed the vase back on the rack, he turned towards Joe and looked at him with an amused look.

"What if the dwarves here knew they were going to be invaded and be massacred soon, so they banished you as their last hope" Caesar explained calmly and shocked Joe.

"Y-you mean, they did it to save me?" Joe asked surprised and his eyes went wide.

"It's a strong possibility, however, It may just be me overthinking things" Caesar spoke as he continued to meticulously examine the treasures inside the room.

Joe entered deep contemplation and Caesar walked over to the weapons rack, the armors looked very well made, however, they were clearly meant for dwarves and not humans.

There also many different types of weapons present, maces, axes, swords, spears, shields, hammers, flails, staves, anything you could possibly imagine.

Caesar wanted new weapons, he enjoyed his last pair of swords, but unfortunately, they were practically destroyed in his last bout with the enraged Joe.

He wanted to take most of these weapons to try out, alas, his storage ring was by no means omnipotent, the space it contained was nearly already filled with food, clothes, and money.

"Sigh, such a hard choice… my common sense is telling me to use a sword because I have already trained in them, however, my instincts are telling me otherwise" Caesar sighed heavily and continued to study each weapon closely.

While Caesar was busy choosing a weapon, Ahri was already in the middle of the treasury room looking through the many accessories… she could vaguely feel a strand of mana similar to her own, deep within the pile of riches.

She eagerly dug through the pile and at the very bottom she spotted a beautiful necklace that sported a silver chain and a shining sapphire in the middle. Ahri felt a strange connection towards the necklace and decided to put it on.

Contrary to her expectations, she didn't feel anything special or different when she put it on… But if one had looked closely, they would've been able to see her three tails grow a tiny amount.

Ahri was slightly disappointed so she started to look at some of the other treasures, she was born in a male-dominant and warmongering clan, thus she was never able to obtain any pretty jewelry. Because of this, she was especially excited about all of the shiny things currently in front of her.

On the other hand, Caesar was currently observing a pair of swords, they were slightly longer than his last ones… they had a long blade and sharp edge, it was perfect for slashing and stabbing. The crossguard was silver, it curled and connected to the bottom of the raven black hilt. It looked quite similar to the German spadroon in his past life.

To the right of the swords was a very tall weapon almost as big as Caesar, it stood at the very least 6 feet tall and had a crescent blade at the end… the shaft was raven black and the blade was silver. It looked similar to a scythe from Caesar's past life.

Joe suddenly walked beside Caesar and gazed at the scythe with a longing look, "that is the best weapon in this treasury… The legendary dwarven blacksmith that made it passed away long ago" He spoke in a reminiscent tone.

"Why would a dwarf make such a large weapon? there is no possible way a dwarf would be capable of using it," Caesar mused to himself while stroking his chin.

Joe just shook his head with a confused look as well… "I'm not sure, legend states that this weapon was originally made for a woman that the dwarf wanted to court… The woman happened to be of noble vampire lineage" Joe said with a wide smile.

Caesar rolled his eyes, "do you expect me to believe in something so coincidental? Why would a weapon as old as that still be here?" Caesar asked in an amused tone.

Joe just shrugged his shoulders and walked away, "you don't need to believe me, do what want" he replied.

Caesar sighed deeply and reached out for the two swords he was previously inspecting, below the swords was a matching sheath and belt to go along with them. He tied the barely discernable belt around his waist and sheathed both swords.

Caesar glanced at the scythe one last time and decided to use the last bit of room in his storage ring for it… although a scythe was impractical for battle and mainly used for reaping fields, he felt a strange compulsion towards it.

Once Caesar got what he wanted, he looked at Ahri that was currently wearing a different ring on each finger and a beautiful necklace that was around her graceful neck.

"Haha, to hard to choose one?" Caesar chuckled and asked gently.

"Don't act like I didn't see you just put that weird looking weapon inside your ring, you're not much different!" Ahri retorted with a wide grin on her face.

She took off the rings on her fingers one by one and settled for a ring that carried vermillion gemstone and emitted an imposing red.

"Have you decided to only take that?" Caesar asked curiously.

"Mmhmm, I don't want to take to much from here… and besides, this ring reminds me of your eyes" Ahri rubbed the ring on her finger softly and smiled slightly.

Caesar's lips curled and he looked towards Joe that was currently stuffing his pockets with all the gold he possibly could...

"We came to this mountain for mana gems, did you happen to find any?" Caesar inquired from Joe.

"Hehe, surprisingly there was one mana gem stashed in that chest over there," Joe said and pointed his finger towards a chest in the corner of the room.

Caesar nodded his head and sighed with relief… "we did not come in vain then" Caesar spoke with a relieved tone.

Caesar decided to head out of the treasury room, he had gotten what he wanted and then some… he already had enough gold and didn't want any jewelry.

Ahri followed after him and regretfully glanced at all the wasted treasure one last time.

Caesar bent down once again and walked through the short doorway, he helped Ahri out and held her hand.

"Don't worry, we will excavate this treasure sooner or later, however, we have much more pressing matters to attend to" Caesar said teasingly when he noticed her regretful expression.

Ahri shook her head and glared at Caesar, "I'm not regretful because of the treasure but because the dwarves that lived here left behind such great things but no one will be able to appreciate their craft…" She said sorrowfully.

Caesar pecked Ahri on the forehead, "you are truly kind… don't worry, this injustice will surely be answered for at a later date" Caesar comforted Ahri and they started walking towards the exit of the mountain while holding hands.

Caesar raised his still sore right hand and a cold mist escaped from it, he had gained an increase in mana because of his battle with the frenzied Joe… He was curious as to how strong his ice magic had gotten.
