Nolan bumped into the Hans Christian Anderson statue and rubbed his injured nose. He dropped down to sit on the bench next to the bronze colored statue. He looked out to the kids playing frisbee and the pet owners letting their dogs have a good run. Nolan touched Han's hand warmly and then quickly recoiled as the burn hit his hand. He cradled his hand to his chest and blew on it with a soft noise of pain. He looked out at the pleasant interactions of others with envy. He had always felt that he was different from those around him and it hurt him that he felt that his awkward fumbling lost him so many relationships. Nolan didn't like the feelings that came with watching Dr Janna Wu. He liked her in a way that was separate from her miraculous medical skills. She was one of the most interesting woman he had ever met and in the first time of his life, a woman who he wanted to get closer to. He liked her compassion in choosing to serve an undeserving community. Nolan knew she could easily work in a well-known hospital and get paid a lot more. Even her strange handbags and witchy wardrobe didn't bother him. She was one of a kind and she appreciated that.

It was ironic too that he would fall for this type of woman, he laughed to himself. It was such a coincidence that the one woman he would fall for would be so outstanding. Their relationship was almost as inappropriate as one that would develop between him and his attending professor. Janna Wu was a woman who lived to help others. Ellie had reminded him stiffly, that Wu would not be interested in them now that the medical malady that had struck her fancy had been neutralized. And . . . even if somewhere in the realm of impossibility he could hold her focus for a second . . . Wu looked at Henry and sighed. She had not even considered him to be a fully grown man. He could do little to soothe her burden of trying to give New York's poor good healthcare.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.webnovel.com for visiting.

Maybe this was why he had looked to his brother-in-law with such envy--his calm and collected air had been to the notice of the one his his heart. He cradled his hands to his chest and realized with a stab of quilt that this was probably one of the reasons he had seen Henry so negatively. He considered his married and taken brother to be his rival. It was a sad thing to admit to himself that he had crawled to such a low place. Nolan was basically desperate.

Initially he had gotten a rush from thinking of Henry as a cold businessman who just cared for profits and had nothing but money in his heart. However, based on everything he had seen and experienced through his sister, he knew that the man was better than him in many aspects. Henry took care of his mind and body so he would be fit to make sure everyone in his care would not suffer. The handsome businessman had made sure to give everything that she needed and more even though she was just an unknown woman Nolan had dragged to her house. He hated that he even with his able body could not take care of his own family issue.
