Unlike the arduous way in the forest earlier, it goes smoothly and undisturbed this time. Might be due to the monsters lurking in the forest have already fled from the area due to the chaos that occurred earlier. Well, it's quite good for us because we are also tired of using our magic skills.

When we arrived at the Elven Camp, it's already dawn and the three of us still have yet to take a single wink of sleep. I am not used to it especially when I was always using my magic. It has taken a lot of toll to me but still, I manage to hold on for quite some time which is already commendable for me.

When we arrived, the elves are still awake, seemingly waiting for the news. Seeing that the ones who returned are us and not the Chief, I can tell that they looked relieved seeing us. One young woman that looks on her teens approached and goes straight to Miya.

"Miya! Thank goodness you are okay! Are you hurt anywhere?"

"No, I am fine Urna, I still have what it takes to survive against a dangerous situation."

"You always need to be careful Miya. It's not always the same for us and we even don't know when will be the dangers be much more dangerous than what we have encountered."

"Don't worry, I am always doing my best to make sure that I don't engage battles with no chances in winning. Anyway, we have to go and rest, for now, is my tent still vacant?"

"I cleaned it up earlier after hearing you are with a few people that are about to engage battle against the Chief," she said and take a look at us. "Are you the people who helped Miya? I thank you for all the help that you have given to her. We would appreciate it that you all rest here. It's unwise to return to where you came from while it is still dusk," the elf named Urna said.

"Then we will accept the offer. Thanks for letting us in," Catmod said as he adjusted his monocle.

I whispered to Miya to confirm something. "How old is Urna by the way?"

Miya smiled and answered, "She is currently 425 years old and will be 426 next month."

Damn, just as I thought, their looks are deceiving, an elf looking like a teenager is already a few hundred years old and is much older than your grandma. Now that I mention it, I also have no idea what Miya's age is. But no, I should just keep it to myself. At least, the lore about elves is indeed true that they are almost immortal.

We followed Miya to a tent. At first, the tent looked shabby and not so spectacular but I realized that I was wrong. The tent was just a facade. It was actually a place similar to my old house that has yet to touch the renovation that Yaya did to my own house without my knowledge.

"How did this happen? A tent should be a bit crampy and has limited space. How come this place is almost identical to a real house's interior?" I looked at Miya.

She smiled and look around her house. "Surprised? This is one of the magic that we elves used. Space Magic can allow a limited looking place to expand its content without renovating the whole thing's function and design. This tent is also similar. The space it now holds is identical to a normal house humans usually live in. Feel free to sleep here for the time being. Will the couches suffice for now?"

"It's already fine enough since we are just crashing in this place. Don't worry about us," I said to her.

"Well, I shall go to my room then. I have to pack my clothes for my departure this morning."

"You are so sure that you will go to exile? If so, where are you going?"

"I am quite curious in the human world so I guess I would follow Kazuma. And besides, I have still yet to help Kazuma take care of the Elemental Pixie. I am the one who gave the egg to him so I also have to take responsibility for taking care of her."

"What? You are following me to the city? Won't you get unnecessary attention to others?" I looked at Miya.

"What do you mean?"

"What I mean is that you are an elf. If you ever go into the human world, many people would get interested in you! People would constantly hunt you!"

"Oh. That's what you meant? No worries, I can hide my identity just fine," Miya said and pulls out a ring with a peculiar blue design. After that, she wears it on her ring finger and we quickly saw what Miya meant.

Her blonde hair became a bit darker which now looked an auburn color, her ears that were originally pointy started to transform into a normal human ear and her green colored eyes turned brown. Now she looked like a normal female teenager.

"See? Now you can relax because even if I follow, I wouldn't be known."

Catmod adjusted his monocle and smiled. "I never expected to see another Ring of Disguise again for how many years."

"Ring of Disguise?"

"Yes, it's a magic artifact that allows the wearer to become someone using that ring. Like how Miya did as she became a normal human from an elf form. It's a very rare ring so you can say that you won't find a lot of them. Even I only see this ring once in the past when my mother was still alive."

The ring was quite peculiar and one of the magical artifacts I have seen so far. We discussed a bit on Miya's plan and I reluctantly agreed to let her live at my house for the time being. I sighed because another one boarded to my house once more. Which means more headache to deal with.

...

Around 9 in the morning, we woke up together with Catmod. Even though it was a bit lacking, at least we are refreshed even with the limited time. Miya is already talking with the other elves during that time. Since Catmod is bored, he decided to tap on the conversation. I didn't bother to listen to the discussion because we still have yet to eat anything.

While in the middle of cooking, Miya opened the tent and entered with a satisfied but sad smile.

"Did it go well?" I asked Miya.

"Yeah, though they are reluctant at first, I managed to convince them. One of the elders agreed that I would go on an exile journey in the human world this time."

Around 11 in the morning, Miya already packed her belongings in a bag made from beast leather hides. When we got out of the tent, we saw the elves are gathered in front of her tent.

"Miya! Take care! Don't forget to remember us from time to time alright?"

"Be safe always Miya! Don't trust strangers easily!"

Miya seemed emotional when she saw all her neighbors and her friends saying goodbye to her.

"Guys... I will really miss you all!"

"Visit us when you have time alright? We would hold a banquet again if you ever come to visit!"

Miya nodded and wiped her tears. Although she is reluctant to leave the place she lives on once, she cannot disobey the rules that her tribe has set. Miya looked at the waving elves and saw Urna running to us.

"Miya!"

"Urna? What are you doing?"

"Don't forget the friendship we have alright? Don't forget me," Urna said and hands out a necklace to Miya. Miya looked at Urna with teary eyes and hugged each other.

"I will always remember you Urna. So long then, until we meet again Urna, I will treasure this necklace you have given to me."
