I know the Dryad is innocent and I feel sorry for her. Besides, she never wanted to victimize other people and was forced to trap others just to spare her life. The tree bent it's branch and lowers it to the dryad. With the Telekinesis ability, I controlled the rope in her body and grab it to drag the dryad away. Before the ugly mermaid devours the dryad, I already managed to pull her off the way.
The dryad did not expect that she will be saved in the nick of time before the jaws of death slams through her body. She was defenseless to the Mermaid due to fear and with the bindings on her body and to the fact that she exhausted her mana earlier, it was impossible for her to escape death. Who would have thought that the person who captured her earlier would be the one that will take her away from death?
The mermaid only managed to eat dirt and grass instead of the dryad which caused the mermaid to howl in anger.
"WHO INTERRUPTED MY MEAL!?"
I don't intend to answer in words but in action. Removing the left-hand glove, I summoned a blue fireball into my hand and throws it to the mermaid's direction. But due to the high sense of hearing the mermaid has, she managed to dodge away from it. After the attack missed, she quickly turns to look into my direction.
"Yo, ugly bastard, does eating grass and dirt taste good?" I taunted the mermaid.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING UGLY!?"
The mermaid quickly summons the water and hurled them to me in the form of water. The way the water hurled at me is a bit fast but I am not afraid of it too much. I control the tree again and with a bit of my mana sacrificed, I managed to grow the branches of the tree bigger and wider. When the water attack of the mermaid arrived, I controlled the tree to block it using the branches. Of course, it's not only that. It can be used to bash the mermaid too. As soon as the water attack of the mermaid got successfully blocked, I quickly controlled the tree once more to slam the branch to the mermaid.
The mermaid quickly dodged using her fins by flicking it on the ground that allowed her to step back away from the area where she stood earlier which is a wise choice for the mermaid.
"You insolent brat! I will eat you!" the mermaid touched the water and as soon as her hand meets with the surface of the water, she pulls out a boomerang-shaped water and hurls it towards us. I controlled the tree once more but this time, the boomerang-shaped water managed to cut through the thick wood like a sharp blade. The thickness of the tree did not stand a chance against the water boomerang.
I already know that it would be not imperative to take my chances on the tree but it's convenient and I was like controlling a robot on my own. But with it down, I guess I should give up on it for now. I grab the dryad and quickly summons a Pillar of Doom in the distance which became our landing site from the tree. The water boomerang is strong enough that it cut the tree in half. If I made an action too late, we would be also cut in half by that too.
I quickly untie the Dryad off on her bindings. It would be troublesome for me to carry her when dodging. Since her claims are already off, I can easily let her go.
"You are free to go. Go as far away from here. This fish needs to learn a lesson who the hell she is facing right now."
The dryad was surprised but she quickly recovered and whispered something to me before she fled.
"Her weakness is the gem on her forehead. Remove that in any means and she will weaken and will be easy to kill."
After whispering that, she quickly jumps away from the pillar and disappeared. So much for the training for my Forestry Control. Anyways, this ugly bastard is the one needed my attention more focused on. If this woman is not eliminated as soon as possible, there is a huge chance that many other victims would succumb and die by her seduction.
My eyes glinted. Since this mermaid is easy to anger, I will taunt this mermaid, again and again, exhausting the mana on her body. I don't care how tremendous the amount of mana she had in her body. As long as it can be drained, then it won't be a problem for me. I stood in my pillar with arrogance in my stance.
"Come to me! I have been wondering how does a mermaid tasted like if burned. Will I ever gain immortality if I ever ate one? But che, I won't be beating a beautiful mermaid if they are indeed beautiful but for a face like yours? Nah, I wouldn't bother," I taunted the mermaid and smirked.

Soon, a terrible noise sounded out of her mouth. I frowned hearing this one because it's so sh*tty and horrible, I can feel the mermaid's voice vibrate in my ears. This annoys me in hell. Can't last any longer, my hands itched a lot and formed a blue fireball on it. I pointed at the mermaid and angrily shouted at her.
"You shut up or I will let you eat this fireball to your filthy mouth! I am not joking! I will turn you into grilled fish if you keep on singing!"
