It was already dark when Gianna opened her eyes. As she roused from unconsciousness, she immediately noticed the softness of the bed. She half wondered if what happened earlier was just a dream. To confirm things, she then rolled out of the bed and slowly reached out to her phone on the side table. Though anxious, she still managed to find the strength to check her phone's call log.
"NO!" Gianna screamed out loud as if she just woke up from a gruesome nightmare, alarming Wang Reiji and Hanzo who rushed quickly to her.
"Oi, Gianna! What happened?" Hanzo was the first one to arrive in her room.
However, instead of answering Hanzo's question, Gianna glared at him while gritting her teeth as if she was a tigress ready to attack him anytime.
Seeing that Gianna was still furious at him, Hanzo then hid behind Wang Reiji.
Soon after Gianna's eyes landed on Wang Reiji, who now had her auburn hair back, she immediately became a harmless tabby cat waiting for her master to pet her.
"B-boss... I'm really sorry!" Gianna said as she jumped out of the bed and knelt down, her forehead touching the carpeted floor.
"What are you doing, Gianna! No need to kowtow and apologize." Wang Reiji said gently as she held on to Gianna's arms and pulled her up.
"But I was really rude at you earlier, boss. Also, I wasn't able to recognize you and I even assumed that you are Hanzo's woman."
"Listen, Gianna. Just forget everything that happened earlier." Wang Reiji said as she gently squeezed Gianna's shoulders.
"Boss..."
"Gianna, you are like a younger sister to me. You don't have to act so formally whenever I am around. So, loosen up, okay?"
Gianna slightly nodded her head as her countenance lightened. Only Wang Reiji can turn her bad mood around.
"Hmm. Then, is it okay if I call you big sis sometimes?" Gianna slightly blushed as she asked Wang Reiji her question.
"How about calling me big sis from now on?"
"Really, bo-- I mean, big sis?" With eyes full of glee, Gianna can't contain her happiness. The feeling of being acknowledged by the person she looks up to made Gianna felt she was special and important.
"Okay, are you girls done with your drama? Can we eat dinner now? It is already late but we haven't started any plan yet." Hanzo abruptly interrupted their conversation.
"If you are that hungry, go ahead and eat by yourself. No need to wait and watch our drama unfold before your eyes." Gianna said as she rolled her eyes at Hanzo.
"Haha enough you two! Don't you guys know that the more you hate, the more you love?" Wang Reiji started teasing them.
"Sorry, big sis. But I have my own version. The more I hate, the more I want to annihilate!" Gianna declared as she discreetly gave Hanzo the dirty finger.
"Please, boss. Gianna is manlier than me, there's no way I will fall in love with such a violent war freak!"
"Haha let's just wait and see! Anyway, let's discuss our plans whilst we eat, okay?" Wang Reiji said as she walked out the room and went to the dining area.
Soon after Wang Reiji had left the room, Hanzo and Gianna exchanged glares at each other before heading to the dining area as well.

The sound that the slap made had radiated across one of the boardrooms of HPA. It was then followed by strings of harsh words from the angered Huang Xur.
"You imbecile! Am I not paying you enough to give me these kinds of report?! You only have one job, Beta unit leader! One job! You just have to find prosecutor Zhang!" Huang Xur growled at her subordinate after he told her that his team still haven't found Zhang Chenric's whereabouts.
"The date for the event is fast approaching, yet no news about him?! How about I fire you all for being incompetent?!"
"No, Lady Xur. Please give my team another chance. Please give us one day more to investigate. I promise, we will not go back empty-handed."
Instead of listening to the poor guy's pleads, Huang Xur laughed like a mad woman as she grabbed the guy's face, cutting a portion of his cheeks with her sharp nails.
"How long have you been telling me that, unit leader? How many more chances must I give you before you stop failing me?" After asking the man her questions, she then released the guy from her grasp, ignoring the bleeding cheeks of the unit leader.
"But since I am a generous person... I will give you one last chance, unit leader." Huang Xur said as she smiled deviously at him.
