I was still in shock from hearing Mr. Davis offer for me. As I kept looking at his card and honest look towards me, I can help myself feeling unease.
"Mr. Davis please don't joke around?"
"Angelique, I ain't joking at all."
"Why me?"
"Why not..."
His words struck me so badly that I was feeling confuse and my head started to hurt. I was still sleepy and now I'm in a situation that my brain isn't functioning well. Last night was just a favor and I did not expect more. I was feeling light headed already, my vision started to blur and within the next second my mind just went blank.
"Ange... Ange... Ange..."
I can hear a man voice calling my name. My body felt so light and weak. I tried opening my eyes to see where am at. As my vision cleared I notice a man by my side continuously calling my name and woman checking on my IV drip.
"What happened?" I said with a drowsy tone.
"Ange... thank God your awake." he said with tearful eyes as he hugged me with belight.
"You fainted from exhaustion and stress, I suggest you rest for now afterwards you can go home."
"I see, thank you..." I responded as the nurse walked away. "Boss, what happened to Mr. Davis?"
"Oh! well... after you fainted we drove you to the hospital. He was busy so he did not stay long but he did mention to me that you should consider his offer. He also gave me this..." as he took out the card that was handed to me by Mr. Davis earlier and looking at me made my head hurt again. "You know Ange, I know your feeling confuse right now. But its not a coincident that both of you meet..." As he continued on explaining to me the reason how Mr. Davis encounter me and why he was there as well that night shock me. "Now you know, he was suppose to check on Steven that night but who would have though that in the end it was you who took his breath away."
"I see..."
"You know Ange... if I were you I'll take the risk. As you said you live your life to please other and ignored your own happiness. Maybe this is a sign that your faithed to be a star. Who knows you might find happiness along the journey."
I did not say anything to what Boss said but I did give it a though, what if I did accept and how would my life be. However, all the out come that pop up in my head were all too negative. Fear of the past started to hunt me again and not long I started to feel the pain in my check.

It was already past noon when the boss drove me home. Before I could even lay down on my bed I received a call from one of my friends.
"Hello..."
"Ange, are you free?"
"Kind of, why Jamie?"
"Me and Jordan are hanging out tonight wanna come?"
"Sure why not..."
"Alright see you at Bar 21."
"Sure."
Then I ended the call, took my coat off and sat on the edge of my bed. Its been awhile since I saw Jamie seeing him might help me find the answer to my problem.
Bar 21
As I arrived at Bar 21 as I was lining up waiting patiently for my turn to enter the bar one bouncer notice me and grab me away from the queue.
"Ms Ange, why are you lining up for." he said as he tooked me up front to the entrance.
"Come on Joe, theres nothing wrong if I line up time to time." Honestly I really didn't need to line up like the rest of them, since the bar is co-owned by one of my friends. Despite he does not manage it himself he has always given me access to enter anytime.
"Nevermind that, anyways there inside already and the Boss is back as well." when he mentioned that the boss the first thing that came to my though was the Devil is back.
I did not reject Joe offer to go inside since sooner or later I'll be my turn anyways, I went to the second floor of the bar. As I looked around the wasted people and slutty environment with the loud music in the background. The smokey atmosphere and beautiful light made me jump into the beat as well.
At one of the lounge area on the second floor I saw Jamie and Jordon drinking already. While in on end of the sofa was a man surrounded by girls.
"Who invited this trash here?" I said as I walked pass the guy who was being surrounded by the girls. I directly went to Jamie and Jordon side as I gave them a hug and a kiss.
"How about me?" the man asked while all the girls starred coldly at me.
"Do I know you?" I asked with an unfriendly glare
"Babes come on don't be like that..." he said while kissing one of the girls in front of me.
"Whatever..." I ignored his public display of evilness towards me and started chatting with Jamie and Jordon. I even mentioned to them about the offer I received from Mr. Davis which shocked the both of them. Jamie was happy at the same time, since he does know I particularly enjoy music since during high school we always go to the same paino lessons.
"So whats your plan?"
"For now dunno know..."
"Jamie what do you think?"
"Well... as long as she happy I'll support her."
I already know how Jamie will answer Jordon's question. Since in high school Jamie have always been supportive towards me. He was my bestest friend and the guy I first fallen in love with. However, life can be cruel since Jamie is only attracted to the same sex but still he has always taken care of me like I was his only girlfriend.
"How about me aren't you gonna ask me about my opinion." the man said as he walked towards us with a glass of wine in his hand.
