Dean heard the announcement inside his head so he knew what the pouch in his hands was, and the fact that the system registered this a mission success means that he was already destined to work and live here for the time being.
The man who was most concerned of this didn't even got to say anything though, he was not even able to formally accept the job and it looks like the system had already decided it for him, the thought of running away and quitting now run in his mind but his pride did not let him.
As a man who had live on earth and work there for most of his life before being killed, Dean got his own pride when it came to accepting a job and getting an early pay from the employer. With his own pride on the way the thought of running away became a passing one.
"I will be going to rest now, go and have the maids on the main house inside give you a tour of the place.'' Gilet wave his hand of him and sad his farewell before entering the house that was across the house Dean was supposed to stay in.
Dean watched as he Gilet went to his own lodge before proceeding to enter his own, he knew he didn't have any way to get away for now and he wasn't planning to, the sun was about to fall and it seems like Gilet was now planning to let him go back to the Lotus Inn for now.
He had many questions that he wanted to be answered, like what he will be doing after he got this job and how much is the pay or when will he go quit the job or something of the like. But right now he was still focus on what he planned to do if he returned to the Lotus inn.
The sun was about to go down and there was a perfect place for him to stay, he didn't have any reasons to not stay there none unless you take for account he didn't even planned to stay there, but with him finding nothing wrong with it Dean chose to stay for the night.
He entered the "room" that Gilet pointed out to that he will be staying at, upon entering he saw two rooms inside one for a storage place that keeps the mattress and the futon he would be using for the night and the other one was the room he would be staying at.
The 2 rooms was inside a big house making Dean who was would be staying for the night all alone feel weird and little "This place is even bigger than the first floor of the Lotus inn and I'm supposed to stay here all by myself?"
Mumbling to himself Dean took a mattress and laid it down on the floor for him to sit on, after doing so he took a futon that he would be staying in. Feeling his hunger Dean took an oil paper from his sleeves and took out the 2 pieces of dumplings that he kept with himself before heading out.
He ate the 2 dumplings without making any sounds while making a conversation inside his head with the system.
"How can I "refine" my body system? Do not give me a simple detail of circulating my heavenly qi, instruct me, I do not have any experience in this so called heavenly energy neither did this world's Dean so you better make it understandable."

Dean saw many things in the System Shop other than the manuals to the various Classes on the Continent, there were weapons, techniques, pets, and even something called a System Upgrade but all of those items cost too much for him to even look at, so he directed his eyes to the Manuals which cost relatively lower than the other.
And all this manuals still cost a lot at least for him right now, the only thing that didn't cost that much money was the Body Refinement Manual that cost 20 SP and the Devour Class Manual that was had the tag of Mission Base, and he read enough books to realize what that means.
Dean obviously purchase the Body Refinement Manual as it was the thing he need.

When the words finally stopped in his head Dean notice the book that suddenly appeared on his hands when he opened his eyes, the cover was colored Red and had an ancient feel around it when observed.
On the cover of the book there were 5 words written on it "The Void Body Refinement Technique" Dean observe the 5 gleaming words on the book and felt the amazement in his body, the book was thin but it felt heavy for him, this was the book that will let him touch the starting point of the martial path after all.
Dean started reading on the book "The body of the Devourer is not something you get easily but refine until you die, only the person who have the blood of the Devourer in his veins can achieve the body of Void, this technique is a method that will be cultivated for life, after cultivated to its highest peak the one who possesses this body will become unbeatable and invincible."
The introduction of the book drew him in, the words unbeatable and invincible was something that he wanted in this life and seems like this technique was his first step on achieving this in the future. Although he knew that the words where exaggerated by a lot Dean still wanted to believe that it was true.
But this is not the only thing that caught his attention, the other one was "will be cultivated for life" this words intrigue him the most even more so than being invincible, a refinement technique is something that's mostly use by people who want to become a cultivator whether it be a Caster, Fighter, or an Illusionist it will start at Refinement to gain strong foundation.
This means that, Void Body Refinement Technique can be trained for life or until it reached its peak Dean can truly become powerful to the point of invincibility, although there were also refinement technique that can be cultivated even after Body Refinement phase all of those techniques were precious.
Most of this so called Refinement Technique are even exclusive to those who have a particular bloodline making a body refinement technique all the more precious than other techniques in the continent. And this powerful technique literally just appeared on his hand.

He burned the refinement book to ashes, and his reason for burning it was he didn't want any trouble in the future. Although the technique was not something that can be learned unless the user have his bloodline Dean didn't want to take chances.
